The bell to the cafe rang as an echo throughout the store. The smell of baked goods filling up the almost empty shop. There are four stacks of chairs towards the right of the cafe, each consisting of five chairs. The only available seats being the booths located alongside the left wall. Two fans keep the store at a cool temperature.
Aside from the stacked chairs, the right wall includes a countertop, sealing away the rest of the shop from the seating area. Three tables lay arranged in the middle of the cafe, a table stacked upside down on each.
At first sight, one would think the store was closed. No one was at the register, and everything was put away neatly, not to mention it's was one in the morning. But the illuminated blue and red sign outside that read "open" said otherwise.
The moon shone through the glass of the store and cast a light into the poorly lit cafe. Stars were twinkling in the night sky as if saying "Go on, speak."
The only other sound that could be heard was the tree leaves that swayed with the light wind.
A figure popped out from the back of the shop. He was tall and lean. "Hello, what can I get for you?" the guy had bangs that fell towards the middle of his face, then parted towards the sides. He looked tired, and sounded it too, as he spoke in a monotone voice.
The boy standing in front of him was small, a small hight, and a small presence, despite his flaming orange hair.
"Just a table for one."
