Tobio knew something was still off with Shouyou. While the ladder was much better at hiding it, Tobio noticed the way Shouyou's eyes would shift or rapidly blink when he told a lie, and that was no different for the days following their playground interaction.
Tobio quickly came to figure out that it most definitely had something to do with Shouyou's camera.
The way Shouyou would talk about photographing different animals and plants nearby his house. Or how he would take pictures of constellations in the night sky, Tobio knew that the concept was growing more and more foreign to the boy.
"Can I see some of the photos you've taken? Do you carry any with you?" Kageyama asked one day while they were eating lunch.
"I have a few hanging in my room at my moms, but most of them at still at my dads," Shouyou explained.
"Ah, I see... Well, I'd still love to see any photos you've taken."
Shouyou thought for a minute before responding.
"Are you doing anything after school today?
"No, I don't believe so."
"I'll bring you over to my moms. She's been dying to meet you, anyways."
"Sounds great! Wanna meet here after school?"
"Sure, it's not too long of a walk. Just a mile or two."
"I'll be sure to bring my hiking shoes, then," Tobio joked. Shouyou laughed a bit then took a bite from the sandwich he bought from the school cafeteria.

A/N:
Sorry for the extremely short chapter. I'm tired and school starts in two days.
Speaking of school starting back up: I'm not quite sure what my update schedule will be since I'm going to have a lot on my plate.
So please bear with me. I'll try to maintain my current schedule but I don't know how well I'll be able to pull that off for before things start getting to demanding.
I might transfer to weekly or bi-weekly updates in a bit (if i don't finish the story anytime soon) but until then, enjoy the daily updates!
