Shouyou was a fucking god at Poker.

Since it was just the two of them, they mainly just played blackjack -Shouyou had to give Tobio a recap on how to play- and Shouyou was way too good for his own well-being.

He shuffled the cards in a way you would expect a professional dealer to, and he made amazingly calculated decisions in a split second when Tobio dealt.

"How the hell arwbyou so good at this!?" Tobio threw his head back. He had just lost another round to Shouyou's unreasonably amazing dealing.

"A magician must never reveal his secrets," Shouyou put a finger up to his lips and smiled.

Suddenly, the front door to the flat flew open and a barrage of playful yells emerged.

"SHOUYOUUUU!!" A young sounding girl yelled out, no older than ten.

Shouyou sighed and let out a sarcastic groan.

"I'm in my room."

"I'm coming in, then!!!"

The young girl stormed into Shouyou's room, kicking the cracked open door and fitting her hands on her hips.

"Natsu, don't break your brothers door," Shouyou's mom called from across the house.

Natsu pouted before straightening herself again.

She took in the room, eyes landing on Tobio and the deck of cards between the two.

"You brought a friend over!?"

"Yup," Shouyou monotonously replied, popping the 'p'.

"And you made him play poker!?"

"Yup," Shouyou repeated.

"Why would you do that," Natsu whined, "what if he doesn't want to be your friend anymore because you're too good!?"

Shouyou shrugged then began shuffling again.

"Hey! Listen to me!"

"Wanna join?" Shouyou finally asked, not looking up from the deck in his hands.

"I thought you'd never ask!" Natsu smiled and plopped herself down next to Tobio.

"I'm Natsu! What's your name?" She held out her hand for Tobio to shake.

"Tobio Kageyama," He replied, taking her hand and firmly shaking it.

"Nice to meet you! I hope Shouyou didn't scare you away with his weird card mumbo jumbo. He's good at doing that," she explained.

"I can assure you he has not scared me in any way, shape, or form," Tobio laughed.

"Good! Now hand my my cards!" She demanded, pointing over to Shouyou who was finishing his shuffle.

"Alright," he dealt the few cards to both Natsu and Tobio, then grabbed a few tokens to use as point trackers.

Tobio soon realized that Natsu, too, was a poker god. Sure, she couldn't fool Shouyou, but she was one hell of a good player.

She made good and strategic calls, groaning when luck was in her favor and she didn't take it, or when it it wasn't and she did take it. She'd fall on her back and pout until Shouyou pulled her back up.

"You done whining now?"

"Just about. I might need a few more minutes," Natsu groaned from the ground after losing yet another match, "how are you so amazing at this. It should all be luck."

"Eh, something along those lines," Shouyou shrugged and he put the cards away in their designated box, "anyways, it's getting late. It's almost dinner. Tobio, you should call your parents to come pick you up."

"Awwwww, but can't he stay? Just for dinner?" Natsu asked, flashing a pair of puppy dog eyes to both Shouyou and Tobio.

"Mom already started making dinner, Natsu. But maybe some other time-"

Shouyou was interrupted by his mother opening the door and stepping into his room.

"Tobio! Are you staying for dinner? I made extra!"

Natsu flashed a wide toothed smile.

"I'll ask my parents," Tobio said, taking out his phone and failing in his fathers phone number.
