CHAPTER 56

"Maybe I should sit this one out..." I stare at another group of people riding the jet ski's slightly chickening out.

"Are you scared Nadia?" Idaya asks me raising her eyebrow.

"What no, why would you think that?" I reply as believable as possible.

"You're with me" Raheem says putting his arm around my waist pulling me closer, I smile. Maybe riding with him won't be as nerve wracking.

"Yea, okay" we all walk over to the jet ski's in our pairs. I get on then Raheem does the same behind me. Trying to get comfortable I scoot back a bit into him. "Sorry"

"Sometimes I think you do shit like that on purpose"

"Shit like what?" I turn to him faking confusion. He closes his eyes and sighs before telling me to get off and sit behind him.

"That wasn't as scary as I thought it was gonna be"

"But I could hear you screaming your head off Nadia" Nusaybah outs me. I was only screaming because Raheem decided to drive it like a mad man.

"That wasn't me, it was Hamzah" the two of them laugh knowingly

"What was Hamzah?" Hamzah asks looking between all of us confused.

"Nothing," he walks away even more confused "can we please go again?" They look to Raheem, he glances at me then back to them, doing puppy eyes.

He turns to me again then to them, and gives in "Sure, why not" Their faces light up and they run off excited.

"You do know you can't say yes to everything they want right?" I say like it's the most obvious thing ever.

"Why not? I do it with you" he says smiling. A smile pulls on my lips- nope. He's not cute.

I roll my eyes "It's not the same, you're gonna sp-" He  holds my cheeks and kisses me. "Spoil them"

"Jealousy looks good on you Nadia"

Raheem had been saying yes to almost everything the twins asked all day, from pranking Hamzah to having dessert before dinner. By the time they were both asleep he was exhausted. Me on the other hand, I couldn't wait to say 'I told you so'.

As soon as I got out the shower I walked into the living room and sat down on the sofa right next to him and sighed "I don't wanna say this but-"

"Yes you do"

"You're right, I do. I told you so"  I pressed my lips together and patted his shoulder "you're their bitch now"

"I should've listened to you, I can't do this again tomorrow Nadia, I can't."

"That's very true, I'm glad you know"

"Nadia..."

"Alright fine... tomorrow I'll tell them we're having a girls day and you guys can do whatever guys do when they're together, idk"

"You can all go to the spa"

"Yea okay"

"Did you just come out the shower?" He asked after glancing down at my attire -and his now slightly wet clothes- for the first time since I sat next to him.

"Mmhm, you only just realised?"

"No, I'm only just processing that, you're only wearing a bath robe and I'm sitting here complaining about how tired I am that your sisters like me so much" he pulled at the front of my robe and looked down inside.
