NADIA'S POV

I was sitting with Sarah and her older cousin Malia by the fire place after lunch and meeting a few other family members. She was really sweet, and didn't ask too many questions about Raheem and I which I was thankful for. Malia was my age and finishing her last year of art school at University of the Arts London.

We quickly found out that we had a lot in common, some being both of us went to art school, we both loved cooking and clothes.

Malia was telling us about how unexpectedly hard the new art course she's taking was when Raheem came and plopped himself right next to me.

"You okay, beautiful?" He placed his hand on my thigh and squeezed gaining my attention. I made a little sound but tried to cover it up by clearing my throat when the two girls have me weird looks.

I moved his hand and turned my body completely to face him. "Yeah, I am" I smiled tilting my head in question.

"Mother dearest wants to talk to you."

"With me? Why?" I asked

"Not entirely sure"

"Oh well okay, I can't exactly refuse can I" I said getting of the sofa to go have a chat with his mum.

He pulled me back down practically onto his chest "Yes you can."

"Yeah, well I'm trying to make a good impression Raheem, not a bad one." I mumbled, pushing off his chest to stand up straight. He raised a brow, somehow amused by my statement.

"No need, mum and dad already love you more than me, and I'm the favourite child" Sarah exclaimed.

"I'm sorry. But... You can be my favourite" I reasoned, Raheem raised an eyebrow at me making Malia snicker.

"I'd love that." She said and stuck her tongue out at Raheem.

"I'm a bit offended love" he feigned a hurt expression.

"Aww too bad, come on now, you've got to help me find your mum" I pulled him up leaning all the weight onto my good leg.

He kissed my forehead and my face went red so I turned away from the two other sets of eyes "Or we could just go up-" he whispered onto my ear.

I can't catch a break with him.

My eyes widened "Nope, finding and talking to your mum sounds great" I moved back and tapped his shoulder "i'll talk to you two later"

They smiled and nodded in agreement as we walked away.

"Let me know if you want to leave at any point, love, I have a idea as to what she wants to talk about"

"I will, and I think after that we need to umm have a chat about all this. Y'know us, and where this is going." I refused to make eye contact as he stared down at me.

"Yea ok"

"There you are darling, Raheem Cosa ti ha richiesto così tanto tempo (what took you so long)" Camilla said stopping in front of us.

"Importa davvero mamma l'ho portata qui, no (does it really matter mum, I got her here, no"

"You're right, now go away so we can talk" she started pushing him away as I giggled.

"Let me at least help her to a chair mum"

"Raheem, I can manage, I'll come find you later" I assured him.

"No, call me, and I'll come get you so we can go, ok?" He said. His mum rolled her eyes at his behaviour, probably not used to him being so clingy.
