CHAPTER 25

NADIA'S POV

Finally, after a few minutes an ambulance showed up and the next thing I knew Taliya was in the back of it on the way to the hospital. Idaya and I were sat at the side of the road waiting for Leo to finish talking the police.

Idaya was sat next to me crying and for some reason I couldn't, I just sat there staring into thin air. "We can go now, miss" I looked up to see Leo standing above us.

I got up and helped Idaya to her feet and to the car. Leo opened the door for us then closed it once we were comfortably in our seats, he walked round the front to his for and got in before speeding to the hospital.

"Hi, hello were looking for a Taliya she was just brought in, She was hit by a car..." I explained to the middle aged woman sat behind the desk.

"Last name?"

"Marshall, Taliya Marshall..."

"Oui, She just went in to get an x-ray to see if she'll need surgery" She said blankly .

"O-okay uh when will she be out?"

"Soon, you can wait over there until you can go visit" She pointed to the small waiting area around the corner.

"Thank you" I flashed a weak smile before slowly walking over to where she pointed to with Idaya in tow. Spotting an empty row of chairs we sat down, but that didn't last long due to the fact I couldn't keep still for more than two minutes.

I shot up and looked down at Idaya she didn't even flinch, her eyes were red and puffy from all the crying, her mascara and eyeliner smudged and hence black tears trickled down her bright red cheeks.

"I'm gonna go try get a hold of Raheem or Hamzah, I'll be back in a minute"

"Okay"

"D'you want anything?"

"No, I'm fine" she glanced up giving a weak smile, I nodded before walking into the hallway. I paced up and down calling Raheem's number. It rang once before he answered.

"Raheem,we-were at the ho-hospital,"

"Are you okay?"

"Yea i-im fine,"

"Th-there was an accident and Taliya, she... she..." I trailed off finally letting my emotions take over and what had happened sink in.

"I know"
I struggled to hold the phone up to my ear because my hand was rapidly shaking and my breathing became uneven "Where are you right now?" He asked and I could hear the concern in his voice.

"I-I-I don't know the mai-" I sobbed as he abruptly hung up on me mid sentence. I glanced at my phone confused before looking up to see him and Hamzah coming through the sliding glass doors.

So much for not seeing each other today.

He embraced me into a hug and I let him, My mind being to scattered to think straight. My head lay flat on his chest, then I tilted it up to find him staring down at me.
"H-how di-"

"Leo, the chauffeur called"

"Leo right, Where is he?"

"Outside"

"Tell him to go home, I'm sure he's exhausted"

He hummed and I could feel the vibrations on my cheek. "I will"

"I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but where are Idaya and Taliya?"
Hamzah asked brining me back to reality. I pushed off of Raheem suddenly and looked at Hamzah my cheeks burning from embarrassment.
