I walked out of my steamy bathroom after have a long not shower to find Idaya laying on my bed. I had called her the day before and asked if she could stay with the twins while we were out and she agreed after bribing me to get her something sweet when coming back.

"Oh you're already here" I said drying my hair with an old t-shirt. She sat up a bit leaning on her elbows and looked at me.

"Yea, you were in there for a while" she wiggled her eyebrows "You look nice though, trying to impress someone?"

"Aww thanks, but no I don't need to impress him" I sat down in front of my vanity to do my makeup. I was wearing a cute white jumper with a baby blue satin skirt and blue shoes I was yet to put on.

"Whatever you say girl" she giggled then lay back down "Are you nervous?"

I chuckled "Umm kinda but not really," I said putting on my earrings "I guess I'm just already so used to being around Raheem, but I am a bit scared to know what my parents think about him"

"Mm yea, but I think they'll like him, if he, y'know, behaves"

"Hopefully. I don't know what he'd do if they say no" we both laughed. I actually thought about it.

What would he do?

"Daya can you help with this please" I asked holding up the matching necklace to the earrings I had successfully put on.

"Okay" she said. I rested it on my collar bone -as she got of the bed- and started on my makeup before my mum burst in and rushed me to hurry up. She did exactly that when I was just finishing my mascara almost making me smudge it.

"Hurry up Nads we're going to be late!"

"It's only seven mum" I replied and she made 'the mum' face. "Okay, Okay I'll be down in a minute" I quickly put on my shoes, put my set of keys, phone and purse in my blue and white bag and went didn't the stairs with Idaya close behind. "Ready. Am I driving?"

"Yes, let's go, see you later Daya" My dad replied stepping out the front door. My mum was in the living room probably telling the twins not to give Idaya a hard time.

"Idaya, habibti, call if anything okay" she said coming out with thing one and thing two. Idaya nodded with a smile in response and winked at the girls without my mum seeing "Bed at nine-thirty"

"But tomorrow is Saturday" Imaan whined.

"Ten latest. Okay Salaams" She was out the door.

"Don't worry I'll bring you back something" I said quietly following my mum out. The three of them looked at each other and giggled as I shut the door.

"I heard that."

"Okay, when we go inside can you both be as normal as possible, I actually like this guy and I don't want you to scare him off, Dad." I said as  I turned off the engine. we walked into the high end but traditional Italian restaurant.

"Yes?, I mean yea of course buba" He replied. We walked into the high end but traditional Italian restaurant.

"Nads, normal is overrated"

"Mum." She raised he hand in surrender. Thankfully it wasn't completely empty -because that would be suspicious- or completely full. There was a decent amount of people so that calmed a bit of my nerves. "Hi, I smiled at the hostess at the desk.

"Hello, welcome, do you have a reservation?" She asked smiling back at me.

"Umm-" I was cut off by an all to familiar voice.
