NADIA'S POV

Slowly and as quiet as possible I turned the key in the door opening it. For some reason I thought I had to sneak in without anyone hearing or seeing me.

I didn't.

Just after I pushed the door closed and before I could turn around I heard someone clear their throat. "Why are you trying to sneak in?"

Damn it

It was only Iman. "I'm not trying to sneak in, I've already snuck in" I smiled before jogging up the stairs two at a time to my room. It was already around one thirty so Amalie would be arriving with my dress at any moment.

"Where have you been!?"

Busted

"I was umm..."

"Never mind, we need to go hair and makeup are gonna be there in thirty" Alie said grabbing my bag and pulling me down the stairs.

"Okay" I said sarcastically once we reached the bottom.

"Oh you're here" Idaya stated.

"Yea, where else would I be?" I replied, she raised here eyebrows and looked to the side making a face. I know that face.

"How was brunch?" Taliya asked, quoting the word brunch with her fingers . I couldn't help but smile thinking about it. I knew what they were insinuating but I was not about to encourage it.

"It was okay..." by the looks on their faces i just knew I was beet red. A dead give away. "What?"

"Spill Bitc-"

The door flew open and in came Sarah, Camilla, and Malia. "Oh hey!" I cut Taliya off from finishing her sentence. "We we're just about to get going"

".  . You girls go ahead (Great)"

"Alright, mum we're going now! See you later" I grabbed my key off the hook and was out the door.

"Nothing happened"

"We can tell when you're lying Nads"

"I don't wanna make Mal uncomfortable, I'm y'know... she's his cousin" I tried to reason and get out of telling them.

"Don't use me as an excuse"

"Ugh fine" I gave in knowing they wouldn't stop and I hadn't even started my makeup.

Rewind an hour earlier

"You ready to go love?" Raheem asked. I nodded in response, he got up holding his hand out for me to take. I placed my hand in his, and I know this is cliche but it fit like his were meant to hold mine.

I  could finally touch him without having the feeling in my heart that I knew I was doing something wrong. It felt relieving. Once I was off my butt I wrapped his arm around my waist as we walked together out the restaurant to the car.

Raheem's grip on me tightened just before he let go to open the door for me. "Now back home, yea?" I inquired standing closely opposite him.
