Karina PoV:
Today was both mine and my roommates, Natalia's, Graduation Ceremony. Neither of us were looking forward to it but Madame says it makes everything easier.

Natalia was my only friend. I was her only friend. We made a promise to never leave each other no matter what. Even a illegal spy organisation couldn't keep us apart.

(present day)

I'm sat in the corner of my cell, my knees pulled up to my chest. It took all the energy I had left to keep them there. They blamed me for her escape so instead of just killing me they were selling me to the highest bidder.

The cell door unlocked with a creak and 5 guards hurried in. Two of them grabbed me, holding each arm as they dragged my pretty much lifeless body down the hallway. One in front and one behind. The other one lead the way and unlocked all the door. The barrel of a gun fiercely in the side of my head.

When I regained consciousness I was chained to a machine where my eyes were forced open and I couldn't move. There was a screen in front of me. It showed a weird psychedelic video. I could here men mumbling behind me and I tried to make out what they were saying but I didn't have the energy. One of them stood to the side of me so I could still see the screen and looked me dead in the eye.

He wore these ugly glasses that looked like they didn't even have lenses in. He had snow white hair and he had a suit on. He smelt extremely expensive and important.

"Take a deep breath. Calm your mind. You know what is best." He said as I used my last remaining pieces of energy to try and break free but as he said the last sentence I felt compelled to stop and listen. "What is best is you comply. Compliance is rewarded. Are you ready to comply Karina?" He asked and I would do whatever he said. "I am happy to comply." I mumbled and he looked proud of himself.

A button was pressed and the restraints on my wrists disappeared. I fell to the floor. "Let's get your branding started." He said in a exited tone. As much as I fought against it I still nodded. I scrambled to my feet at turned around.

Another man stood there wearing a similar suit. This man had darker hair and darker skin. He didn't wear glasses and smelt less expensive. "How long do results last?" The darker skinned man asked while swirling the scotch around in his glass. "There's not a set time. Different times for different mind capacities and capabilities." The white haired man said as he dragged me out of the room.

They laid me down on a bed and cleaned the back of my neck. I heard a buzzing and then I felt a bit of pain but I didn't react to it. Once they were done they cut my hair to my shoulders, it was down to my lower back before. My leg was cut open and what looked like a tracker was implanted in my. I was stitched back up and given some food. In the real world it wouldn't of been given to a human but I haven't eaten anything in almost 12 days so if I didn't eat I was going to die. I was also kinda forced to.

(7 years later)

They gave me powers. I can move shit with my mind and read peoples minds. I can also feel other peoples emotions.

I'm on a mission right now. To eliminate a threat. He's at a event at the moment so it would take a lot to get to him.

I tied my hair up in one dutch braid in the middle of my head. I put my suit on and was shoved out of my cell. I was driven to the event and left on the sidewalk.

I silently took out the guards standing outside and climbed up onto the roof. I got into a vent and slid through it making my way down to a room that should be empty. Luckily it was empty so I slipped out the room and looked for the target. He was standing at the bar with a female red head.

I pulled my mask up and jumped down from the upper level and landed on top of the bar. I tried to shoot him the the woman threw me behind the bar. All of the glasses shattered onto me as my mask fell off, revealing my face.

The woman froze so I took the opportunity to climb back over the bar and take the man out. "Abort the plan." A man said in my ear piece.

I left without doing anything else.

(1 year later)

I'm on a mission at the moment and I'm in a hotel room right now. I'm putting my suit on and my head went funny. I was dizzy but then I was back to normal. Normal as in not brainwashed.

I stumbled out of the hotel room and out into the street. I passed out in the middle of the street.
