THRTY-FOUR | HELLO MOTHERFUCKER
Mike ducks and dodges with the kids as they run through the middle of a battle between the Demogorgans and the military.
"Get down!" Mike yells as one jumps over their heads and onto a poor soul.
They stop dead in their tracks when they come face to face with one and one behind them, cornering them.
Mike breathes heavily as he tries to figure out what to do.
A beam of fire shoots down and hits the Demogorgan, knocking it out of the way.
Mike looks around. None of the soldiers have fire so where is it—
He looks up to see Olivia floating in the air.
"Fuck yeah." He says.
She looks at him and smirks before coming down to the ground. "Hey Mike."
"How many of your friends have superpowers?!" Derrick asks.
Finally some men in suits arrive with flame throwers and start fighting back as she deals with a few herself.
Olivia looks at the ground and sees Will writhing in pain as Joyce tries to comfort him.
The other Demogorgans are weakened by the effect of the few that are actually being targeted.
A squelching sound is heard as a doorway opens on its own. All eyes turn and Vecna walks through much to everyone's surprise.
"Oh fuck." Olivia says. She looks over and sees the soldiers raise their weapons. "No, no, no! Don't shoot!"
They either don't hear her or completely ignore her before opening fire. The bullets do nothing to him as Vecna takes them out one by one.
After what she just did, the soldiers look to her to do something but Olivia knows better than to try anything. Clearly they didn't teach them about Vecna in Upside Down school...
One of the suits with the flame throwers tries to shoot Vecna down, but he retaliates by sending the fire back to him causing a small explosion, knocking them to the to the ground.
He takes the pins out of two of the soldiers' grenades that are on their person.
"Watch out!" Lt. Colonel Jack Sullivan yells out. Vecna hurls the two men carrying the grenades into a tank, causing an even bigger explosion.
