THIRTY-THREE | A NEW LIFE
The drill of needles drown out in the background as Olivia stares off into space.
The cracks that formed in the ground of Hawkins.
The dust that fell from the sky. Which oddly enough looked like the same dust that Dustin choked on when they were in the tunnel...
Racing to plant evidence and prove Eddie's innocence.
Bats. Lots of bats.
"Olivia." Her mind is brought back to the present. "Did you finish that sketch yet?"
She looks down. "I just have a little more to go and it's all yours."
"Alright. Just give it to me as soon as you're done."
"Sure thing." Her boss walks away.
The bell to the tattoo shop dings as the door opens but Olivia doesn't think anything of it as she continues with her Celtic knot sketch.
"Hello ma'am. May I proposition you for a personal drawing?" Someone whispers in her ear.
She turns around. "Eddie."
He kisses her cheek. "Hey beautiful. Sketch looks good. As usual."
"Thanks." She puts the final touches on it. "How was work?"
"Same old, same old. Not too much excitement at a record store. Are you... still going to work later?"
She chuckles. "You know I have to."
"You could stay here with me." He pouts.
"I did that yesterday." She chuckles. "I can't call out two days in a row." She takes the finished drawing out of her sketchbook and hands it in.
Eddie takes the book and flips through the pages. The last page has a drawing of the entire Hawkins crew. He quickly flips it back before she returns.
"I'll see you tonight?" She says.
"Looking forward to it." The two kiss and she grabs her things before leaving for her second job.
"Munson..." His boss and owner of the shop, Jerry says. "That girlfriend of yours is a Godsend. Her sketches are amazing."
Eddie smiles to himself, extremely proud of her.
