Y/N slammed the book close as she heard all the girls simping over the boy, she hated the most. Kim Namjoon, the popular boy of the school. She hated how perfect he was. There was nothing he couldn't do. He was intelligent, confident, charming. He was everything that anyone could ever ask for. All the teachers were very fond of him. It annoys her that she never comes first in class how much she tries. It's always Kim Namjoon.

Kim Namjoon this, Kim Namjoon that. Why? As if everyone was under his spell and Namjoon is always there to shove it to her face that she'll never be able to reach at his level. So arrogant! She's been always compared to him by her parents. Maybe it's because their parents hate each other and she hated herself the most cause of the way he made her feel. She knows she shouldn't but she can't help even after all of this.

"Ready for another failure?" Namjoon smirked sitting beside Y/N. She wanted nothing but fuck that smirk out of his face. "We'll see about that Kim Namjoon." Y/N rolled her eyes. Namjoon hummed and looked in front as the teacher came with their results of their pre semester.

Y/N felt anxious as the teacher was about to announce the result. "The student who got A on every subject is none other than our golden boy Kim Namjoon." She couldn't believe this. After everything she had worked hard for only to see the perfect boy getting the first place before her. She really felt like a loser right now. As usual she came in second. I don't want this shit. What I'm gonna say to my parents?

The class was going smoothly. Namjoon didn't say anything to her but Y/N damn knew the guy will do everything to throw his success at her face. However the reality was quite opposite. Namjoon behaved like that cause he loved to tease the girl otherwise he had no intention to be arrogant. He was far from that. To him Y/N was the prettiest and boldest girl he had ever seen and probably the first girl who never thirst over him for his good look, popularity and money. She was different from everyone.

"Told you beautiful." Y/N glared at Namjoon as he giggled. Stupid stupid stupid Kim Namjoon. She didn't understand why she loved those dimples which popped up whenever he smiled. She hated him right? Fucking Kim Namjoon always ruining my mind. "Cat got your tongue?" Y/N flinched as she was into her thoughts. She didn't realise Namjoon got up and leaned down towards her. She felt her heart racing. Stupid heart.

Y/N was about to say something but at that moment "Joonie baby why are you here?" A girl approached who was another simp of Namjoon. He just hated this girl, Scarlet. Y/N thinks Scarlet is his girlfriend but she wasn't. This Scarlet girl was so annoying, always clinging to him. On the top of that she was a bully.

Y/N rolled her eyes as Scarlet glared at her. "Is this bitch disturbing you again ?" Namjoon's jaw clenched. He was about to say something but then suddenly Y/N spoke up "say that again you'll be buried six feet under." Scarlet gasped. "And it's YOUR BOYFRIEND who's disturbing me."

Boyfriend? What the- "Watch your man first you hoe." Y/N walked away shoving her beside. Meanwhile Namjoon was stunned. He liked the way Y/N stood up for herself. She looks hot when she's angry but now he needed to tell her that he's not Scarlet's boyfriend. "Joonie ba-"

"Don't fucking call me baby ever again. I'm not your boyfriend. Annoying shit!" With that Namjoon walked away as well leaving Scarlet fuming in anger. Meanwhile Y/N was so angry. Fucking whore! Just because he's the popular boy's girl that doesn't mean she can say anything and get away with it.
