Clearing The Air

Two days later:
Josh's POV
"Your going out with my sister!" Mully yells dropping his controller. I just walked into the living room to tell Mully that me and Y/N were going on a date tonight. When I walked in Mully was chilling on the couch playing COD or something with the guys so I thought this would be the best time to tell him. There would be people here to stop him if he tried to kill me. He turns his head so he's facing me and his face is expressionless. "Mully it's not a big deal" Eddie chimes in placing his hand on Mully's shoulder. William turns his head slowly to face Eddie and Eddie immediately takes his hand of his shoulder. I knew Eddie wasn't sticking up for me, he was just trying to help Y/N out. "Thank you Eddie" I say with a cocky tone. Mully shots me a look and I lose my confidence. "Mully she asked me out" I say trying to justify what I just told him. "Your going out with my sister?" His eyebrow are frowned. "Really man your going out with her?" Narrator finally cuts in, he sounds upset. "Yes she asked me out and I said yes" I say in defense. Grant and Juicy are sitting on the couch opposite of me and they both have these sad looks on their faces. "You're not going out with her" Mully says seriously after a moment of us all just staring at each other. My face quickly changes to a shocked expression. "What do you mean I'm not going out with her?" I asked angrily. He stands up "you heard what I said, you're going to cancel your date" he says hovering over me now. I stand up too "No I'm not" I say while pushing him back with my hand on his chest. "Josh I swear to fucking god if you hurt my sister!" He yells gaining his balance again. I look at him with a serious face "I'm not gonna hurt her" I say calmly. Mully's face softens. "I know you're not" he says calmly. He catches me by surprise by hugging me. "You're my best friend man I just don't want things to get awkward." He says pulling away from the hug. Gaege and Grant are still staring at me from behind Mully. "I understand man" I say as Y/N walks through the front door. All our heads shoot in her direction. We see Eddie mouth something to her and they take off upstairs.
Y/N's POV:
As soon as I walk through the front door all the guys are staring at me weirdly. "Shit went down" Eddie mouths to me. I drop all my things on the counter quickly and we run upstairs. "So what happened?" I ask sitting down on my bed Crisscrossed. Eddie sits in my desk chair and pulls it over to my bed. "Josh told Mully about your date dawg" Eddie says surprised. My eyes go wide. "He did what?" I ask freaked out. "I told him to let me do it." I say mad. "It turned out good tho, William is fine with it" Eddie informs me. "Wait he's fine with it?" I asked shocked. "Yes!" Eddie says excitedly. Eddie gets up. "You guys are gonna be so cute!" He pulls me off the bed and hugs me. "Can we come in?" Me and Eddie shoot ours heads towards the door. Narrator and Juicy are peeking in from behind the cracked open door. "Yes of course, come." I pat my bed. I know where this talk is going. They both sit awkwardly on the edge of the bed. Eddie smiles awkwardly at them. "I'm gonna go" Eddie laughs nervously and points to the door. "Keep Josh busy please?" Grant pleads. "Anything for you dawg" Eddie laughs and quickly leaves. "So?" I sit in my desk chair and roll it over to them. "Umm Me and Grant just wanted to clear some things up" Juicy clears his throat and continues. "We are happy for you and Josh." Grant says looking down at his feet. "Yeah..umm we just wanted you to know that we aren't upset" Gaege gives me one of his half smiles. "W-we" Narrator pauses. I feel my heart sink to my stomach. They are both such nice guys but I just don't see them like that. I really wish I did so I wouldn't have to sit here and reject them. "I know it's weird" I say softly. I didn't want them to continue in fear one of us would break down. "Yeah" they both sigh. "And I'm sorry l lied and said I didn't like any of you" I place a hand on each of their knees. They look up. "We can't control who you like" Juicy half smiles. "But we're happy for you and will be here for you as just friends if you ever need us" Grant adds. "Oh come here" I say sweetly. I stand up and take them into a group hug. "Thank you for understanding" I say to them. "Of course" they both say sweetly.

A/N: next chapter will be the date and after that it gets good.
