The Date Pt. 1

8:47 pm That night
I'm sitting on the couch with Gaege and Mully in the office as we wait for Grant to get back from the bathroom. My head is in Juicy's lap and my feet were on Mully's lap but he moved over and took Narrator's spot when he got up. "If you don't hurry up we're gonna start it without you!" Mully shouts to Grant. Grant comes busting through the door nearly breaking it. "Don't!" We all laugh at him as he gets back on his feet. He lifts my legs and places them on his lap. "Okay you can start now" Narrator chuckles. Mully presses play and we all go quite.
A hour later:
I check my phone and sit up fast. "Shit I gotta get ready!" I move my legs so they aren't on Grant anymore and I stand up. "It's almost over" Mully whines. "Josh is gonna be home soon stupid" I say with a soft laugh and rush out the room.
Mully's POV:
We watch Y/N run out the room, but now I feel Grant and Gaege's eyes on me. I look at them trough the side of my eye. "Can I help you guys?" I ask slowly turning my head towards them. They just stare for a minute. ''Why?" is all Narrator ask. I wish I knew what Grant was talking about half the time. ''Why what you weirdo?" I ask confused. "Why would you agree to that?" Gaege cuts in pointing out the door. He seems frustrated. "Are you guys talking about Y/N and Josh?" I ask with a small smile. I don't know why this was funny to me. "Don't tell me you still like her Juicy" I laugh. "No it's not like that!" He freaks out causing me and Narrator to laugh more. "It's just that me and Grant" he slaps Grant lightly and Narrator stops laughing. "We both think that Y/N and Josh isn't the best idea" he smiles awkwardly Narrator just nods his head agreeing. 'What!?" I stare at them for a second. "I only let it happen because you guys said that it would work out!" I say shocked. "Well..." Narrator begins but stops when we hear the door handle jiggle. "Hey guys what shoes should I wear?" Y/N ask coming through the door. I look at her in awe. My baby sister is so pretty and I'm letting her go out with my Gollum looking best friend. I was broken out of my thought when Gaege speaks. "You look amazing." He smiles at her and she blushes a little. My sister just fell for Mr. player's moves. "White definitely" Grant cuts in. She looks down at the shoes in her hands and smiles in agreement. She has a sundress with a floral pattern on with her hair curled lightly.
She looks absolutely gorgeous just like our mom. I smile at her in approval when she looks over at me with our mother's eyes. There's a knock on the door and she gets excited. "That's him!" She turns to the door but then quickly back at us. "Go let him in!" She runs out the room and I hear her go up the stairs. I make my way to the front door and let Josh in. The man lives  here I don't know why I'm letting him in like he's her prom date or something. Grant and Gaege enter the kitchen as they're ending a conversation. They both glance at Josh and Josh glances back.
Y/N's POV:
I hear Mully let Josh into the house as I make my way up the steps. I rush into my bathroom and brush my teeth quickly. I look in the mirror for a second and smile. I'm so excited for tonight. I turn off the lights in my bathroom as I exit and grab my purse off my bed before leaving my room. I make my way down the stairs but my palms are sweaty. I enter the kitchen and all the boys heads snap at me. "Wow, you look beautiful" Josh says stepping from behind the counter. He grabs my hand and kisses it. He's wearing a button up shirt with Khakis. He smells so good too. "Well fellas we'll see you later" he says grabbing the keys off the counter and leading me past them. I smile at William as I exit the house and he looks happy. "So my lady are you ready for the best night of your life with the hottest of men?" Josh chuckles a little. I laugh and play along. "I am Mr. hot man" I smirk and rub my hand down his bicep. We bust out laughing as we get in the car. He opens my door before getting in. "So where are we going?" "Well I was thinking a fancy schmancy dinner but I think the state fair would be a lot more fun" he gets excited. "Hell yes a fair would be more fun!" I giggle and buckle up. He starts the engine and I get comfortable in my seat. He pulls out the driveway and places his right hand on my thigh lightly. I turn up the radio a little and he rolls down our windows. The air is warm and the sun is just setting. The wind is blowing through his hair and he looks so peaceful. He looks over and smiles. A wave of calmness washes over me and I turn the radio up a little more. Summer has always been my favorite. He switches his hand that is on my thigh to the steering wheel. He sticks his left arm out the window and waves his arm in the wind. I lean my seat back a little and place my feet out the window and rest them on the side mirror. He starts singing along to the song playing. "Pretty little body dancing like go-go" I join him "and you are unforgettable" He drums his fingers on the steering wheel and counties to hold his other arm out the window. "A fucking good time never hurt nobody" he picks back up. I just watch him as he sings along. We are now driving down the open backroads and you can see miles in front of you with the pink and orange sky following. I unbuckle my seatbelt and stand up putting my head out the sunroof. I feel him grab my ankle as a brace. I throw my hands up in the air as the music is blasting. "When I met you in the summer!" The radio sings.
Josh's POV:
I look up and Y/N is standing out the sunroof with the biggest smile on her face. I can't help but smile too, there's just something about her. She lights up a room and can make anyone happy. I grab her ankle lightly just in case. "We fell in love as the leafs turned brown!" I hear her scream along to the music. I turn it all the way up for her. "And we can be together baby, as long as skies are blue!" She climbs back in and sits down. Now facing me a bit more. "When I met you in the summer!" We sing to each other. She's looking right into my eyes and my face feels hot. "You're so pretty" I say turning back to the road. I see she blushes out the corner of my eye. The next song plays and she gets excited. "I met her by chance, I said I really like your pants!" I realized that the one artist Juicy is always listening to, is playing right now.
