Out of the Framework, into the reality (Skyeward fanfiction)

Chapter 1: Welcome to reality

Let me tell you what is the situation right now. The reality is this: 

One year has passed and HYDRAtook over completely. People were living in fear. The drones were constantlyover their heads monitoring suspicious activities. As for the team Coulson lost his hope. The long game seemed to be too long. They were on their own. No Fury, no SHIELD, no backup so he saw an opportunity to go and do what he regretted he didn't – he became ahistory teacher. Simmons followed in his footsteps and decided to become a truescientist. She started working for a lab and often gave lectures at theuniversity. However, some didn't want to quit.

Ward and May saw the opportunityto try and destroy HYDRA from within, eye for an eye. Fitz too, so they all went to work for HYDRA stating they were loyal to HYDRA from the start. They started climbing ranks. Fitz and May were fast tocome to the highest level. They were sent to the office of the Director. A surprise waiting on them when they saw AIDA. 

"AIDA? What is the meaning of this?" Fitz looked at his creation in shock.

"My dear Leopold, this is now the reality. No more AIDA do this, or AIDA do that. No more trying to do impossible things like bring someone back from not existing planet. Our resorces are now going to more important things."

"And those would be?" May asked suspisciously.

"On a need to know basis. Now that I have you here, I would like to show you one of my creations. Well, truth to be told, Mallick and Garrett had it, but once I got rid of those two, I got the opportunity to work on it myself. You see, Radcliffe gave me access to the knowledge of the Internet and so much more. So, we will try this now. May, would you like to have the honor?" the LTD looked at the ninja warrior.

"Not in the slightest" May said and started to look for a way out, but AIDA just pressed a button on her hand that triggered metal hands coming from the floor and ceiling, grabbing May's hands, holding her in place.

"AIDA,what are you doing?! Let us go! This is not what you want!" Fitz yelled.

"Quite the opposite, my dear Leopold. This is what I want and I am going to have it. I am going to live the life I deserve for myself."

"But you are not human, AIDA. Surely you understand that you are not made for that"

"Wrong, Leopold. Radcliffe didn't make me for that purpose, so I got rid of him, but you...I could feel you had some bigger purpose for me"

"That's impossible. You shouldn't be able to feel anything"

"Yet I do. I have evolved and now I am claiming what is to be mine. So be a dear and sit still until it is your turn." One more click and a robo hand covered his mouth, while another two held both of his hands. Another few clicks and the metal holding May started bringing her forward to the machine. Machine turned on and May started screaming. It was the first time Fitz heard her in so much pain. he tried resisting his restraints, but in vain. When the screaming stopped, May's body fell to the floor. AIDA had 3 agents in to get her up and they carried her out.

"I'm sorry Leopold, but this is the only way. It will hurt, but try to think positivly. Once this is over, you get to start over" she programmed her robo hands to get him through the machine and the same procedure happened to him.

As for Grant Ward, the infiltration process took a little longer. He started at the rock bottom. He had to go through HYDRA academy, where they were thought to think like HYDRA agents. He excelled in combat, so he got noticed soon.

"Grant Ward, a former agent of SHIELD. You are very good. A perfect fit for us, but can we trust you?" his S.O. asked him.

"Yes, sir. I am here to serve the greater purpose" he answered.

"We'll see about that. Go to level 3. Your further orders await for you there." 

Once he got there, he was met with a S.O. of specialist task forces. He was up for the recruitment in the higher ranks. To become a HYDRA specialist. 

When he found out about Fitz and May being at the top of the HYDRA food chain he thought he might climb faster and go unnoticed. However, even though May and Fitz seemed to have forgotten about him, his climbing the ranks hasn't been unoticed by some other unit leaders.

He was called in by his latest S.O. Gretzky.

"Agent Ward, you seem to have shown great dedication to the tasks you have been given. Your skills and talent have been noticed, and you seem to have just what we need for our new mission.That mission will seal your fate here at HYDRA" Gretzky told him.

"Well, well, isn't this the Robo man. I see we meet again" he heard fro  behind him. There was only one person who has ever called him that - the hacktivist. What is she doing here? "I see you've left SHIELD. How so?" she continued.

"I am a person who has to be on top. I go with the winners. SHIELD has become a bunch of runaway puppies, and I was trained to be the top dog."

"I see. Well, you have been chosen to work with me. My time to play the top dog." she winked at him.

"I see you have met the leader of our special forces unit, agent Johnson" Gretzky cut in their ramble. A leader? So she went to work with HYDRA? Was she even then with them when they came for her?

"Yes, sir. We have been aquainted some time ago." he answered his supervisor. He turned back to the fiesty woman standing there in her tight black comabat suit. "So, a leader, huh? I haven't pegged you, a hacker from a shabby van, to lead special forces"

"Well, I have been here for quite some time now, so I think that would make me qualified to climb the ranks. As for the special forces part" she put her hand up and threw him against the wall that was behind him.

"Hah, that was cute" he said smirking, but also rubbing his neck with one hand while standing up.

"Cute huh? That was level one. I didn't want to kill one of my newest boys on his first day on the job just for thinking I was cute."

"Agent Ward, from now on, agent Johnson will be your S.O. She is the lead agent on the case you will be working on as well. Once the mission has successfuly been completed and our unit leaders have all assessed and agreed, you will officialy be enlisted as a HYDRA agent."

"Now listen to that Robo boy. You are not even an agent yet. Oh, we are going to have so much fun with that piece of information. Now, move it. We are going to meet the team." she ordered.
