Chapter 12: The assessments

He walked out of the black limo surrounded by a whole unit of armed soldiers. The man had a fine tailored suit on. His hair was slicked to the side. Hi buttoned up his suit jacket and removed his sunglasses, then started walking towards a huge building.

As he came in, everyone just moved ou of his way. They knew who he was, and they were terrified of him.

"Where is she?" the man asked one of the man following him, his accent slightly heard as he spoke.

"They are all waiting for you in the office, as per our intel, the Madam is there as well". The man just nodded as he went straight towards the elevator to take him up to the highest level where the leader of HYDRA had her office located.

"So, what's this all about that a man can't have his sleep?" he asked.

"Leopold, nice to see you. Come, we have much to discuss" Madam Hydra called for him to join the other high ranked agents at her conference table. "We are all here today to discuss some things" she says and nods to Gould to put up the files on the hologram for all to see. "On our last mission we lost a couple of good agents" she started, looking at Sorenson and Pinsky "however, we have finaly learned that SHIELD and ATCU are working together as so called Resistance. Their leaders Jeffery Mace and Rosalind Price have been caught by one of our Drones together in some sort of meeting" the rest looked at the photo in front of them.

"We have inspected our servers, due to the suspiscion of having the mole. Someone leaked the intel details" she looked at the people around the table. "I have asked agent Johnson to check the system and she has traced some sort of code indicating the intel has been leaked from someone within HYDRA. The only people knowing the op are the people in this room and the people out in the field. Our suspects are still unaware of our investigation and it has to stay that way. Since their departments are in charge of such things, and none of their people have been involved, agents Rider and Farwald will take charge on the investigation" Madam Hydra gave her approval to the two department heads in question.

"Me and agent Rider will come to your departments seperatly. It is very important they don't suspect they are being questioned. We ask of you, dear colleagues, to help us find the mole and prevent any future ops failing like the last one" the older lady in charge of the Communications department said.

"So my dear, what is the plan you couldn't have waited to tell me at home?" Fitz asked Madam Hydra.

"Oh Leopold, you know me so well" she smilled and kissed his cheek tenderly. "Even the walls have ears. This is better secure location, you know that" she said to him with a smile.

"So what's our play here?"

"We need to see if one of our heads could have anything to do with this. You know how important it was that we succeed in that mission, yet we have failed. The so called Resistance" she stoped for a while with a blank stare. "they are giving the people hope and motivating them to start an uprising. We can't tolerate that behaviour"

"I know exactly how to put people back into their place. Resistance might have won the batlle, but we are winning this war" Fitz said with a smirk as he kissed her softly. They smiled at one another, then he pulled back, smoothed out his suit and left her office.

Screams could be heard from the sterily white room. Scientists were fumbling around the single chair in the middle of the room from where the screams came from. The poised man just sat there, watching through the glass the scene before him. He seemed unamused.
