His new status gave him a little more space for breathing. He was becoming popular around the specialist troops. His last mission might not have been a complete success, but he couldn't complain finally getting a good look at Fitz.

The man looked completely different. His strong accent was rarely there. His curly hair was smoothed to the side with the gel. No more casual clothes, all only suits. But, what was the most concerning is his ruthlessnes. The Fitz he knew back at SHIELD was a softy. He wouldn't even hurt a fly. The Doctor was the complete opposite. He didn't care about any casualties as long as the mission was carried out with a win for HYDRA. He carried a gun and would shoot his victims without a flich. All while staring in the soon to be dead person's eyes. Madam HYDRA must have done something to him and May when both of them, complete newbies like himself, to her office just to become the top dogs of the food chain overnight. He has always suspected a foul play.

Since he has been at HYDRA it has been about 8 months now and he was 100 percent certain people can only change overnight if they have been sent back to school, as they would formulate it around here. He still hasn't been to that "school", but if it was anything like the academy, they must have tried to screw somehow with their victim's brains to install HYDRA values in them. Something simmilar, but on a higher note could be the reason for the sudden change in demanor of his former teammates.

He knew the reason he was at HYDRA - give them hell after what they have done to SHIELD, same way but harder. Only now, he might have had another reason to stay at this hellhole, and she didn't look like a midless zombie, but a rather genious, only led down the wrong path. His mission seemed to have expanded a little - get info to the Resistance, get in and take down HYDRA, open Skye's eyes and lead her down the right path.

He couldn't look at the stupid monitor anymore. The cubical was suffocating him. He was made for field, not a desk job, but it was only thing to do when there were no active missions, at least not the ones he was invited to. If he wanted to get more information about the Resistance, he needed to climb the ladder to at least the Deputy of the unit.

He was getting closer to Sorenson. The man was taller than him, but had way less muscular built. He seemed like he was a damn good specialist when he was younger, but the years have started to take a toll on him. Man was deffinately in his mid 50s, and seemed like he was soon done with HYDRA. His only job now seemed to revolve around training the forces, treacking their improvement and leading missions from afar. By his predictions, the man was soon to retire and the job was open for the taking, meaning he had even less time to become his deputy.

As he walked passed the bullpen where the cubicles were, and towards the elevator to take him down to gym he thought he overheard again someone talking about the Resistaance movement. No one around him seems to have heard it, but he was certain it was talk of the spies within HYDRA. That was his chance to get closer to his goal.

He followed the voices talking about it and saw the backs of two agents from the science divisons, seemed like Avery from tech department and an unknown scientist from Pinsky's department. He went in closer to hear more, but he was spotted.

"Agent Ward, may I help you anyhow?" Averyasked as he saw Ward lurking. The other one turned around quickly and looked back at Ward with nervousness.

"Hi, Avery, how's it going? Might I ask who is this?" he showed at Avery's companion.

"Good, thank you" Avery answered politely, yet caution could be detected in his tone. "This is Doctor Rowan from the science devision. Can we be of any assistance to you?" the smaller man with glasses continued.

"Actually, you might be Avery. Remember our last mission when out of no where those armed men showed up. Seemed like they were part of the Resistance. I think someone might have tipped them off and since I overheard you mentioning that specific mission, I couldn't help but wonder if you know something"

"I do remember that mission. Our scanns showed only a few of the ATCU agents in that compound. There were no indications of the additional forces they had fire at you. But in the end, the mission has been successful."

"Easy for you to say. You were sitting in the comfort of a chair at the jet and weren't shot at. For me however, it wasn't as successful. We barely got out of there alive. But I would like to ask you two, does this mean anything to you" he said as he started pulling out a paper from the back pocket of his jeans.

The two of them kept looking at the paper that had some sort of code on it. It read: "Mow the lawn 18 5 4" What should have confused them, actually seemed to have surprised them. They looked at one another and Rowan nodded.

"A Volkswagen gear has no radiator" Avery stated calmly. Silence. They kept looking at each other, for the other one's move. After a few seconds, Ward answers:

"Well, that would be because it is air cooled"

A sigh of relief came out of Avery. He came closer to Ward and whispered:

"You're Resistance too?"

"No, but I'd like to be"

"How do you know these code then?" Rowan asked showing the piece of paper in Avery's hands.

"SHIELD inner circle. Those codes if you were wondering came right from my former boss Coulson. He was a freak for cars, especially the older ones. As for the code in his hand" he motioned to the paper" Clean, code red" that was an old code I only saw once on Coulson's table after SHIELD fell. It came directly from Fury, so you two knowing these things must mean your leader is someone close to Coulson and Fury"

"We can't talk about this anymore. Not here at least. I'll tell you what. Edward Cullen was my favourite character. He loved hunting in the outskirts of town, but he had to beware the eyes monitoring him. He had to run deep in the darkness, hide behind containers. 3 times was all it took for him to get to safety" and with that they left.

Ward had a meeting with the Resistance. Finally. Twilight.  Outskirt of LA. Furthest  alley possible, behind a container. Beware the drones. Knock 3 times. That was the menaing of Avery's nonsense story. But he finally had a lead. It was time for the Resistance to start resisting.
