A Little Welcome Remarks from the Writer

Hailing from Semarang (yes this fanfiction is written when I'm in Semarang)!

Fangirl has been one of the most memorable writing I have ever made so far, I wrote this when I was 14 and now I'm 21, still writing about Avril and reminiscing how I used to fall in love so hard with her character. She is a combination of several of my friends' characters that I really love in my real life; she's lovely, she's courageous, and she's full of power -- sometimes -- and yet she's fragile, she's weak, and she's still trapped in the past.

When I first wrote her, I never thought that this fanfiction will be fulfilled with a bunch of comments and votes. I still continue to write her, even today; perhaps, several of her life's chapters don't seem to be realistic. Well, it's fanfiction though.

A few years ago, I have met a situation where I have to stop for a moment to write. I thought I wouldn't be able to write forever because the idea of me writing will not be suitable enough for me. So it's just me, having a university life as a law student with a bunch of... activities. Until I had enough of that and went to Louis' concert in Jakarta.

It reminds me a lot of One Direction, especially Louis and I was like, wow I finally met the person that I wrote them for over years and years on my fanfiction. Louis looks so soft and lovely.

Going to Louis' concert is like the 10-year-old me finding One Direction and going crazy over Louis Tomlinson -- my first real crush on One Direction. The post-concert depression has brought me to listen to One Direction all the time. Once again, it's like finding One Direction again.

Then I remember how interesting it is to eventually extend the story of how Niall and Avril end up together -- as I wrote this fanfiction in 2018 or 2019 if I'm not mistaken. So here I am, writing them again. Well, I think I just simply miss writing fanfictions.

This fanfiction is, to be frank, mainly inspired by my conversation with several of my friends. A month ago, I was with a friend of mine, who was crying right in front of me because he thought he wouldn't be able to be a good boyfriend for his girlfriend, he thought that everything he has done is not enough for her to be proud of him. He was chaotic, once. Both of them are friends of mine and I asked their permission to write this, with a shower of what-so-called as fanfiction flavor, and they said yes. Well, in addition to that, I wrote Fangirl and Not So Fangirl when I was 14 to 18, which is almost three years ago. The details in those two books, perhaps, do not match the circumstances that is surrounding this book. Thus, I'm trying to make the details crystal clear without derogating what I have written back in Fangirl and Not So Fangirl. So, yeah, I will make additional details. So if you found things like "lah Avril harusnya gini, lah Avril harusnya gitu" I can make sure that I will have additional details toward it so it won't be happening all sudden. 

This fanfiction, also, will be written based on two points of view: Avril's and Niall's. To make it more comfortable and relatable, I will write the whole chapter of Niall's POV in English. God, I'm really excited to write this fanfiction besides all my hustle and bustle of university life. 

However, any institutions mentioned are not affiliated with this fanfiction and are purely written for the sake of story development needs. This story may need so much development in terms of plotting and writing. Thus, I apologize for the deficiency.
