Gue pernah berpikir dulu, gue gak akan pernah jatuh cinta lagi sama cowok. Kenapa? Ya karena gue mikir semua cowok itu sama aja. Pasti punya sisi brengseknya masing-masing. Dan bener aja ternyata, walaupun gue baru pacaran dua kali seumur hidup, orang yang gue nikahin juga punya sisi brengseknya sendiri.

Intinya, semua cowok itu punya sebuah kekurangan yang bakalan bikin kita sakit hati.

Lalu bagaimana kalau gue engga bisa nerima itu semua? Putus. That's simple.

Butuh waktu bertahun-tahun untuk sembuh dari luka lama, luka saat pertama kali gue pacaran. Kayak, ya, cowok itu adalah my first time of everthing; first boyfriend, first kiss, first hug, first... well, the first time I'm doing the 'third base' was with him.

Dan hal itu yang lagi gue share ke Venus. Bocah satu ini udah beranjak gede, udah 15 tahun dan.. dia patah hati untuk yang pertama kalinya.

"Hey, don't you listen to mommy? Don't ever go to that dumb bastard ever again, okay? I swear I've been there, going through the same phase with you. Honey, once a cheater will always be a cheater. Maybe this time he just texted her or made a phone call. And you wanna condone him? Big fucking no," jelas gue sebagai emak yang baik.

Venus menyeka air matanya. "I don't know mom, I just love him so bad. I won't find another like him."

Gue menghela napas. "Of course! When you broke up with him, you'll never find another like him. You don't want a cheater right?"

"He said it was just a text mom, and I'm way too possesive."

"You're not. Do you feel your heart break when you see it?"

Venus mengangguk.

"That's it! If he loves you he never wanna see you cry like this but he made it anyway," kata gue lagi dan membuat tangisan Venus semakin kencang.

"Oh God, Avril. You're not a good mom," ejek suami gue. "Okay, honey. Do you want dad to get you a pizza or anything?"

"I mean, that's the truth! You don't want your daughter to get hurt," debat gue lagi. Well, jangan tanya kenapa Venus curhatnya malah ke kita berdua, dia emang anak papi banget.

Venus mengangguk. "I want a pizza," lalu yang nawarin tersenyum bahagia. "But dad, I don't want a pinaple on the top of my pizza okay?"

"Okay," setuju Niall lalu dia melesat pergi dan menjulurkan lidahnya ke arah gue. Okay, what kind of 'mature' dad he is?

"Mom," panggil Venus. "Who's your first love?"

Gue tertawa. "A jerk."

"Isn't dad a jerk too?"

"At least he's not that jerk."

"Can you tell me how do you guys ended up here?"

Gue mengerutkan dahi. "You serious? Where do you wanna start?"

"The moment that you said that you met a jerk."

"Okay, I'm gonna tell you how did we end up here..."
