Homecoming

Please remember while reading further I AM NOT COMPLETELY FOLLOWING THE ORIGINAL STORY LINE IN THE COMICS OR MOVIES.  A lot will be the same but a lot won't!! Especially in the next couple chapters.

I wake up to Shuri looking down at me. I sit up and rub my eyes.

"What's wrong" i say.

"Steve's been trying to get in contact with you. He says it's urgent"

I shake my head confused. "Uhm okay thank you"

She nods and walks out.

I pick up my phone and see four missed calls from Steve and 2 texts.

3:56pm

Vivian call me back. 
Now please. It's important.

I press the call button and it only rings once before Steve picks it up. "Vivian?"

"Yeah Steve what's going on"

"Vi. He's alive"

"What who is"

"Bucky."

I stop breathing. I must be dreaming or, or this is a joke.

"What the hell are you talking about" i say laughing.

"Hydra must've done something to him that caused him to survive the fall."

"Steve why are you lying" i say crying. I can't bring myself to believe him. This can't be real.

"Vivian...turn on the news." He says.

I do and I see a man with long dark hair, he's got a metal arm with a red star on it. He's fighting Steve though.

"Steve, Bucky would never fight you." I say confused.

"He would if he doesn't remember me. It was him Vi. I saw him face to face. His mask fell off and I saw him but when I said his name he didn't recognize it" Steve says.

"Are you one hundred percent positive, Steve"

"I swear."

I hang up the phone. I'm hyperventilating and sobbing. I can't wrap my head around it. Bucky could be alive. Even if he is he doesn't remember Steve.

I start feeling sick even though the serum makes that impossible. I practically have a stomach made of steel.

I start putting my things back in my bag. If Bucky's alive I'm going to be there to bring him home.

I walk out of my room with my suit on and bag in hand. I walk towards Shuri's lab.

"Ooooo girl what's got you all dolled up" she says eyeing me up and down dramatically.

"Uhm my almost one hundred year old boyfriend might be alive" i say laughing even though I don't find a single spec of humor in the situation.

"Well that will do it" she says turning around grabbing something.

"What's this I ask" holding the box.

"Well Captain America has a shield, I figured you could do for an upgrade." She says.

I open up the box and see 3 purple knives.

"These are nice but i already have knives, you know that" i say confused.

"Not like this you don't"

She grabs one of the knives and throws it across the room causing it to fall to the floor.

I give her a confused look and she scoffs.

"They're made out of Vibranium so they'll live as long as you but also they'll come back to you if you're in battle"

"How"

"You use your gravity ability and instead of floating they'll attract themselves to the signature your body gives off when you use it."

I lift my hand and do as she says. The knife immediately flys t0 my palm by the handle.

"How do I make sure it doesn't stab me" i say examining the knife.

"It reads your signature from the bottom so it should come bottom first but if it does stab you, get over it you'll heal"

I laugh "yes ma'am"

"No get out of my lab and go save your man"

"Thank you, Shuri"

She nods pressing a button that opens up a window above us.

I let out a laugh "oh hell yeah".

Then I fly out of the window higher and higher until I make it out of the force field.

I fly faster than I ever have until I reach New York.

As soon as I reach the city I go invisible so I'm not seen. I see three huge hella carriers already in the air.

Well I'm late to the party.

I turn my ear piece on and fly onto a near building.

"Steve where do you need me"

"How much have you learned about hacking in the last 70 years"

"Steve i was alone in a cabin with nothing but a computer and books please"

"Get to the middle carrier and see if you can over ride all three systems."

"On it"

I fly to the middle carrier staying in stealth mode and see 4 guards blocking the entrance. I throw all three of my knives hitting three out of four men in their torso.

The fourth one turns to shoot but misses since he can't see me.

I take the gravity away from his gun and it floats up slowly. He looks at it confused and as he does I walk up grabbing his gun hitting him hard on his forehead.

Ouch that's gonna leave a mark. Before walking in a call all of my knives back to me.

Once I'm in I find the control panel and start fumbling with the wires trying to find the override switch.

As I'm doing so I get a feeling danger is coming so I slowly grab a knife by my thigh and wait until the persons close enough before swinging backwards.

I can practically feel their breath on my neck now so i swing my arm back fast and just before my knife makes impact they grab my arm.

They pull my arm flipping me onto my back and that's when I see him.

"Bucky?"
