"May I know your name please?"
"Oh, it's Sim Jaeyun."
"Thank you for informing me Mr Sim, I'll make sure to be on time." I thanked him in my most warm voice ever. "No worries, see you soon Vice head." I smiled ear to ear at his words. "Soon Mr Sim." I can hear him cracking a small laugh and end the call.
"WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!! WOOOO-HOOO" I'm flying around the room with my phone. I'm actually flying. Jumping from bed to couch, couch to bed. After all, ITS MY DREAM THAT CAME TRUE.
"I MADE IT. I. MADE. IT." I started kicking and punching the air and then land on my bed.
My breathing is unstable, my heart is beating so fast as if I ran a marathon. Anyone close to me will be able to understand this feeling. How important it is to me. I can't imagine my Mom and Dad's smile hearing this news. Specially Dad, as he is an anchor himself.
Thinking about my closed ones, I remembered to call this first person in my mind right now. My best friend, my supporter, my happiness, my believer. He deserves to know this. I dialed his number quickly and it was ringing.
"Pickup Pickup!!" It was just ringing but he wasn't answering my call. I redialed it. Still ringing. He must be asleep? I decided to text him to call me back as soon as he sees this message.
I was making these fake scenarios in my head, how they would and could welcome me. Those pomp and show with applauds. Batch, sash, respect. I'm giddy just by thinking about it. It's a feeling I never want to forget. Something irreplaceable from my memory lane.
I was in my thoughts when my phone buzzed. "Incoming call....penguin♡"
I answered it,
- WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU??? I CALLED YOU 2 TIMESSS!
= Girl, it was just 2 missed calls and I was in the washroom. You know I don't use my phone in there. It was on charging with silent mode on. I just now saw your message and called you immediately. Everything's fine right? You didn't create a mess right?
- What do you take me for? Am I kid, whining and breaking things?"....
=As if you weren't crying a while ago making it look like you will kill anyone who will come in front of you at that moment.
-Yahh, I was heartbroken that time. It was more worst than a heartbreak.
= okay okay, why did you call then?
- Penguiiiiinnnnnn!!!! I've a good newsssss!!
=And what's that?
- You guess.
= Oh c'mon, I'm not a mind reader. Say it or I'm hanging up I've got practice in half an hour.
- oyeee wait! I'll tell you then. I MADE IT HOON!!
=Made it, where?
- I'VE BEEN CHOSEN AS THE VICE HEAD OF THE PODCAST DEPARTMENT!!!!!
= huh? Can you say that again?
- I. HAVE. BEEN. CHOSEN. AS. THE. VICE. HEAD. OF. THE. PODCAST. DEPARTMENT.
= OMGGGG WHATT THEEEE!!!! REALLY???? HOW DID YOU GET TO KNOW THAT!?!?
- the H.O.D. called me awhile ago and told me all the details. I'm soooOOOO happy sunghoon-ah!!!
= I'm even happier for you Gold! You actually made it!!! Soooo....you're going to join the party tonight since you're a part of the Council.
- uhmm I'll think about it.
= yahhh you have to accompany me. It'll be so boring without you. Plus Aisha and Rein are coming just because I told them that you'll be attending too.
