Part 19
(Sunghoon's pov)
I knew that I slept while traveling here but I can sense no movements. As if the car stopped hours ago, neither I can feel Princy's presence beside me. My mind gave me signals that I should open my eyes and that's what I did when a sudden jerk made my eyes flicker open.
I adjusted to the surroundings while roaming my eyes here and there. I was still in the car, in the same position while the whole car was empty. It was still dark outside and the time marked 11:45 pm. I couldn't find Princy anywhere which made a bit worried.
I got out of the car and the next thing I saw, made my mind twirl with confusion to what the hell actually happened here.....
Panic and shock was all over my face. The whole car's bonnet was crushed in the giant tree in front of me.
I couldn't process what was happening when my heart stopped thinking about my Gold. Where is she!? Is she okay!?? And how was I asleep till now and didn't heard a single crashing sound!? How the fuck is that possible!! But that isn't my concern rn, it's my Gold!
I was screaming her name in this so big forest route. There was nothing till the ends but only trees, darkness and silence. Not a single noise except my throat screaming for my Gold. I moved a bit ahead, still screaming her name. But no response. It was the same silence.
I started freaking out when I took out my phone and called for her but there wasn't the DAMN network in this area. I threw my phone in frustration which made it Crack into pieces and I couldn't just stand erect. My feet fumbled and I fell on my knees while sweating hard.
What is actually happening in here!?? My mind was feeling dizzy, my whole body felt weak for some reason. I felt I would die if I didn't lie down at the moment. And my body reacted to the signals my mind gave to it. I started lying down on the road, it was icy chill. But I had no strength to fight it back. I just lied down when I heard someone calling my name.
My vision was blurry but I saw few figures running towards me, calling my name. I heard her. That voice. It was my Gold. I knew it. I tried to stay awake till she came near me. She took me in her lap and softly touched my cheeks. Calling out to me. I can finally be at peace I guess.
"Sunghoon-ahhh!!! Open your eyes please!! Stay with me. Penguin!! I said open your eyes-...."
(Princy's pov)
"Penguin!! Open your eyes!! Sunghoonieee!!! Get your senses back or we'll be late!!" I kept on shaking him but he was not giving any response. That's when I noticed his lips were moving, trying to blabber some words. He was sweating so bad, goddammit!
"Sunghoon? You're having a nightmare!? Open your eyes I said. Wake up please!!"
I softly called out when he suddenly woke up making me flinch because of the proximity. He was deeply breathing in and out, when his eyes landed on me.
"Sunghoon? Are you oka-" I wasn't able to complete when he hugged me, litreally crushing my bones. He was serious about the hug, but I didn't do anything since he must've been so scared. I let him do that.
"It's fine, hoon. You'll be fine. We both are. Take deep breathe. I'm here with you." I should be the one patting his back but he was doing instead and Idk why. But I kept on embracing him since he needs this to calm himself.
When he did, he backed off but still holding me, as if I'll melt away in this cold weather. He was looking me in the eye. "You're really fine Gold?" I frowned and nodded. "We both are completely fine hoon. It was a dream of whatever you're believing rn. We reached our destination so don't worry." I smiled reassuring him.
He gulped down the water from the water bottle taking oxygen in with the information I gave him. I kept on staring him. He needed a moment until he went out. I followed him after letting the driver know about the trunk, to open it.
(Skip to few minutes later)
We both were walking at the seashore because his surprise was still getting ready. The others are decorating as well. I got the message from Jake and heeseung a while ago to keep hoon busy till they do their final touches.
We had our luggage in our hands while I thought of asking what he exactly saw in his dream. We still had half an hour before his birthday and this boy is still unaware, I don't know how is he still not aware about his very own birthday arriving in few minutes!
"Hoon, mind telling me what did you sae in your dream? It's okay to share. It's not going to happen anyways." He looked at me and stopped his steps. I did as well.
The wind blowing was chilly. Making me freeze bad. But I definitely saw a warm tear slide down his beautiful ocean like eyes. He was crying?? He was streaming tears while smiling at me and sniffing.
It made me feel so bad and I hugged him. He quickly embraced me as well and kept on sobbing at the shoulders.
"Was it that bad hoon? What did you saw? Don't tell me you killed me or something in your dream!? I still have to get married, have sex and kids." He left a laugh.
"Well I actually killed you though. I killed your plans of having a husband and kids. I almost lost you...losing myself."
He whispered at last. I pulled him back and looked at him with a are you serious look. "You had no one to kill but me? C'mon hoon. Who's gonna take care of your ass if I'm not there.?!"
He was laughing at my replies feeling idgaf about his bad dream which I guess made him relax because I was taking it light. I smacked him and told him that I'll stay alive and will see him have grandkids before I actually proceed to hell.
We kept on making jokes until I got the message from jungwon about the thing being ready. I grabbed Sunghoon by his collar and dragged him to his one and only gift. It was just 5 minutes before his birthday and I was nervous as damn. As we were getting closer, I was looking at Sunghoon for his reaction. His eyes were roaming curiously at the glow in front.
But once we reached a nearby distance, he completely stopped. I stopped as well, his eyes grew as big as they can get. While he dropped his bag, I bit my lips not knowing what to say or should I let him get the situation himself. I decided to go on that while others came out from the cabin, it was just 15 seconds now. I grabbed the birthday cap from Lia and as the clock strikes 12, all the firecrackers busted and Heeseung and Jay popped the bangers.
"HAPPPPYYY BIRTHDAYYYY PARKK SUNGHOON!!!!!!" We all said in unison. He was still frozen as if he saw something he shouldn't have. I went down the stairs to give him a big hug and his cap, making him unfreeze when he hugged me back as a reaction.
When he realized that this crazy human wasn't dreaming and it was really a mini cruise waiting ahead of him, he really jumped making me flinch. He kept on jumping like a 5 year while hugging me in process. I can hear others laughing at a distance. He was in no mood of unhugging me or whatsoever.
I kept on jumping with him like a kid. He brings out my inner kid certainly. I was smiling with my whole because he was finally living his dream in front of him.
"Sunghoon, we have to go up there as well. C'mon birthday baby!!" I grabbed him and we went up there. He was welcomed by Sunoo and his cake with everyone having his birthday gift ready though I told them that this whole gift was from everyone. He wished for something and blowed the candles.
We sang for him while he sliced the cake. The first bite was mine but no no. It was his. We all had the cake with so much fun while Jake made me have a cake bath and the whole night went away while chasing this puppy human. I was chasing him throughout until I had him have the taste of his own medicine.
We had a great tour of the cruise, had some late night snacking and decided to watch a movie. That's a date for a few days for us. And we are going to live it for the best. See you guys in a few days.
