[ Jaehyuk's pov ]

I'm on the verge of busting in tears. I unfolded something, I promised not to ever talk about. Not because it's disgusting, but a bitter truth that me and my mom had to live through. Something I always wanted to forget, but couldn't. How can I even!? That's the truth which kept me away from my one and only reason to live, My Gold, My Princy.

My eyes litreally glaring in hers. She has her eyes and mouth wide open. Now she knows the only secret I ever kept from her. "Illegitimate....J-Jake?" That's all she could say. My eyes drank all the fluid which was on the verge of spilling out, as I closed them for a second, before looking back at her.

She looked at my face, finding answer to the new question I raised in her idiot brain. "Jake is Illegitimate, is that what you're implying to? TELL ME, IS THAT TRUE?" She yelled. "Let's go back home. We'll talk about this at home." I went to grab her wrist but she pulled it back.

"I'm not going anywhere till I get my answers. YOU are going to answer everything right here and NOW." She pushed me back as I tried to hold her by shoulder. "I don't wanna talk about it Gold. Just forget what I just said. It's closest to a lie, okay?" She furrowed her brows.

"A LIE!? YOU BASICALLY CALLED THAT PERSON A FUCKING MISTAKE ! HOW IS THAT A THING TO LIE ABOUT?" Her eyes were burning with rage. I legit felt pain. It should've been me whom you should be worried about, why is it him?
I was the one who got abandoned, not him. WHY IS IT THAT BASTARD JAKE!?

I kept my calm. "I told you to forget what I just said. Do as I say Gold. Disobeying me is the last thing you'll dare to do." I said as I forcefully grabbed her wrist and we made our way back home, with her continuously trying to free herself.

I opened the door of the bedroom and threw her on the bed. She flinched. "Sleep." That's all I said as I closed the door with a bang. I made my way to the refrigerator, taking out a water bottle and took a long gulp from it as I stared at the ceiling. Flashbacks came crashing down, but I tried to stay sober.

I do not want to loose myself. Not when she's with me. My head started to spin as I clutched harder. I opened the cabinets to look for my medicine but they had none. I slid down on the floor as I lost my sense. Everything around me blurred. No! Please!!! She's here. She's right here! THIS CAN'T FUCKING HAPPEN. ........

[ Heeseung's pov ]

We've been roaming in this isolated area for an hour now and there is no trace of Princy yet. It's getting chiller and darker. To be exact, it's past midnight and we are inside a forest area. According to Hyung, the craziest idea can be to keep her at a place where no one dares to go.

We were stopped by a few people earlier, who resided somewhere near this place. All they told us, was to stay out of this forest past midnight and that's exactly what we decided to ignore.
We were also told that there are some horrendous incidents which took place in this forest and people around the area hear some screeching screams in pain for help at night.

Ngl, I'm scared to death. I don't get scared easily but I guess, or let's say I believe, there is something definitely not right. Everyone in the car was so focused to look around that I'm sure they haven't noticed it yet, we are moving in circles.

My breath was chilly as well. My hands were getting colder, not from the cold but the anxiety. I couldn't hold myself any longer to say this, "Hyung, how long is this going to take?" He turned to me and shrugged. "As early as we find Princy."
