Part 30

[ Sunghoon's Pov ]

I woke up from a good sleep but my whole body was aching from sleeping on the couch for the whole night. I stretched my body and ruffle my hair, yawning, I looked around. Princy was sleeping, so beautifully, just like a baby.

I stare at her for a while before getting up to have some water, my throat was itchy and dry. As I filled the glass, I notice my hand, covered in a band aid.
Frowning, I drank the whole glass in one go.

I don't remember doing the dressing?

As I thought about what were the possibilities of me doing this and not remembering it, my gaze fell on the first aid kit beside Princy.

She did that?

I went towards her and saw her holding the blanket tightly in her fist. I try to loosen her grip but she holds my thumb instead. I laugh at the big baby in front of me. Sitting down beside her, I think about the incidents which happened the previous night.

I was scared for my life when I read that letter and then Jake said that something unsettling happened at the uni. Why won't she tell me when I'm the first person she shares everything with?

I was thinking about so many things that I didn't notice door of the room opening, until a pair of slippers were standing in front of me. I looked up, only to be greeted by someone who can ruin my fresh morning mood. Sim Jaeyun.

"What are you doing here, early morning?" I asked trying to keep my calm since my Gold is sleeping.

"Generally people with manners would wish Good morning but it ain't about you." He said putting his hands inside his pockets.

"Well then you're forgetting that I'm tolerating you only because of Lia." I said without looking at him and rub my Gold's back of the hand.

"Does she still have fever?" He said and was about to touch her forehead when I slap his hand away. Him giving me a What is wrong with you? look but I don't care. He ain't allowed to touch her, infront of me.

I check her temperature and she wasn't hot anymore so I guess the fever went down at night.

"She's good." I said as I cover her even more but then I remembered of asking him about that uni incident.

"Uhm- didn't you say something happened at uni yesterday? What was it?" I heard him scoff.

"Say please?" Now it was my turn to scoff.

"Please my a**. I'll ask Princy afterwards." And looked at my hand covered in band aid.

"Don't. She was already traumatized when she saw that, don't make her experience it all again. I-I'll tell you." I looked at him.

"But let's talk outside. She needs sleep." And for the very first time (not really), I agree with him.

I smoothly freed my thumb from her grip and covered her perfectly in the blanket before drawing the curtains and walking out with Jake, closing the door behind me.

We entered the living room and I went inside the kitchen to make some coffee for me before making myself comfortable on the couch. Jake was staring at me the whole time but as I said I'm not supposed to pamper him except infront of Lia.

"So? What happened at the university? Say it all, without leaving anything." Placing my cup on the table.

"I wasn't planning to leave anything either and other than this, I've got something else to say it to you as well." I take a sip of my coffee before giving him all of my attention.
