Part 36

[ Princy's pov ]

I was getting ready to leave this place, this hospital room. I was allowed to be discharged and mom was the first person to be here in the morning. She made sure I've got no ways or excuses or buts or ifs to stay back or with my friends.

Sunghoon came shortly after Mom and told me that she picked him up early morning along with his luggage just to make sure he's got no escape as well, which made me snort as to how helpless he looked.

I wanted to meet the boys before leaving but I don't think I stand a chance. But what makes me happy is that I will be leaving Daegu in 2-3 days because of the uni. We were on leave for 2 weeks and how the hell did they pass so early!?

"You ready darling?" Mom's vice grabbed me out from my thoughts. I looked at her while folding my towel, "Yeah, almost." no I'm not. I don't wanna go home. But I can't possible make it so obvious. I zipped the bag and turned around, only to hault and get shocked.

My chest felt a rise from joy. There they are. "Kids? What are you here for?" Mom was the one to say something because I swear I felt a lump in my throat from overwhelming. They all laughed in unison and ran towards me.

Thank God I didn't collapse. They group hugged me. I can't breathe properly, but who cares. I missed them. "We knew you won't be able to come back to Sim Mansion, so we decided to come for you." Lia explained with a bright smile.

"Do you really have to leave? Can't you stay with us or can't WE stay with you?" Heeseung sneakily whispered in my right ear so that Mom is unaware of his master convincing skills. I looked at him with guilt and shook my head.

"I have to go. But we will meet in Seoul soon! " I have high five him which he returns but with low energy, almost sulking. "Take care of yourself Princy. Will miss you a lot." Jay pats my back and I slightly hugged him, which made his body go stiff. I haven't had any physical-friendly touch with him ever, it was the first time.

I guess he was taken aback but nonetheless, returned the hug. Lia pulverized me; I heard my bone cracking. But in between all, I still looked at the person standing behind Lia. He was staring at me as well.

"Here." He offered me a clenched fist. "What is it?" I, unsure about what the fist hides, look at him. "Open it." He moved his fist in order to tell me, open this. So I opened it slowly. His palm had the prettiest necklace ever, with a moon and star charm hanging beautifully on it. Something written on it which I couldn't decipher because of different language.

I stare at him, looking for answers. He giggled at my confused face. "This is one of the priciest necklace I have. Not because it us expensive but holds so much power. You've been under so much stress lately, it will help you.

My mom bought it for me when I was young and used to have nightmares. I don't know how much of a help it is but give it a try. If it's of no use, it'll decorate your pretty neck just by wearing it."
He flashed the most beautiful smile which made my heart beat faster than ever.

He is thoughtful. He makes me forget of things which gave me pain. But one thing stings me still, he's not mine to feel this special.

I smiled at him nonchalantly. "Thank you, Jake." With that, we all exited the room.

Daegu has changed a lot. From all that I remember, it is smaller than before due to the redevelopment of the village areas. Only the city people would be able to breathe in such a less spacious environment. Well, we got used to it.
