Chapter 1.5 - Prince

"Y/n you know the family we've been allies with right?" Y/n's father said.

"Yes?" Y/n replied.

"Well their son Prince Toya will be coming to the palace later and will be talking with you. We thought that if we let you two get along we could arrange a marriage if you two are happy." Y/n's father said.

"Are you forcing me?" Y/n asked with slight anxiousness.

"No. But it will affect your inheritance on the throne if you don't find a husband." Y/n's father said.

"What if it was a knight?" Y/n said.

"That's a surprise." Y/n's mother said.

"That will have to be decided depending on the knight. But the sake of our roles we should try to stick to other royal members around the country." Y/n's father replied.

Y/n was putting a clip on her hair when a knocking was on the door.

"I'll get it!" Mizuki said.

"Y/n I think you should switch those two clips. I'm not a professional in fashion and all but they seem out if place." Shiho said.

"They do?" Y/n said as she scanned the hair clips.

"Y/n your boyfriend is here!!" Mizuki cheered as Akito entered the room with a slightly red face with an annoyed expression.

"My boyfriend?!" Y/n exclaimed as she immediately turned her head to the door.

"I am not her boyfriend." Akito said irately.

Mizuki seemed unfazed because his face didn't let them take Akito seriously.

"Akito do you need anything?" Y/n smiled while her heart was racing.

"The heck you dressing up for?" Akito said scanned Y/n.

"Prince Toya is coming. If we are happy together we would be getting married." Y/n said a bit anxiously.

"Well you do look nice." Akito said nervously.

"Ohoho? What did you say earlier? 'I'm not her boyfriend' you're not adding up the maths correctly." Mizuki smirked.

"Oh shut up. You're not adding up the maths correctly!" Akito argued back.

"Sorry Shiho. Could you help?" Y/n said with a sympathetic smile.

"Will do." Shiho said as she helped Y/n with the hair clips.

"Anyway. I was wonder where these two were. You'll be in the gardens, correct?" Akito said.

"Yeah. That's what my father said." Y/n replied.

"Okay just checking." Akito nodded.

"I'll get going now. Don't trust that Toya dude too much!" Akito said before leaving.

Mizuki closed the door with a smug smile.

"So what's up with his overprotectiveness?" Mizuki questioned.

"Probably a crush. He's not like that to the rest of the family." Shiho said.

"You too?! I mean...the feelings I've been getting is probably the answer.." Y/n said.

"The more I learn in this room is unbelievable!" Mizuki commented.

"There. Does it look better?" Shiho said.

"That would do. Thanks a lot Shiho." Y/n smiled.

"Prince Toya is probably already here. Can you check?" Y/n asked.
