Chasing Wattpad

Genius or really really really not very nice guy?

This post is just a re-write of a post that was removed for inappropriate content (more commonly referred as "the truth"). I have re-written it without identifying anyone and toning down the language. I did this because I think it is important that people know about this.

Good morning good innocent Wattpadder people! I hope you are all well today.

I cannot lie to you. I am vexed. Something vexes me. People vex me. I don't like to be vexed.

I do so enjoy Wattpad. What I don't like is those poor misguided souls who are here only to get reads, follows, votes, or comments. Jeepers, they vex me so. Why do they do that? They are not here to share or be part of a community. They are here to garner these votes by misleading people into following them. There is this one particular person (WHO I WILL NOT NAME) who does this and it vexes me terribly. He will sit there at this desk and follow the maxium 1000 people that he is allowed to follow. Then he waits for a couple of hours and then checks his list. He will then unfollow everybody and start all over again with a new batch, including those who did not follow him the first time around. That is how I caught on to him. I saw his name as a new follower several times. When I followed him I checked and found it he unfollowed me within minutes. He has been doing this forever now and has thousands of followers this way. Can you believe that? Oh my word? Who does that?

This vexes me for 2 reasons. First, I look at all those poor Wattpadders that follow this guy and they are thanking him and praising him on his feed for following them. Some of them even tell him how much they appreciate the fact he is going to take the time to read their stories. Little do these poor souls realize that they will be dropped almost immediately after they click on the follow button. That is just sad. The second reason is that I have read this guys book (WHICH I WILL NOT NAME HERE). It's not terribly bad. In fact I think it might do well on here if just promoted in an honest fashion like everyone else on here. He has as good of a chance as anyone else at getting his book noticed. Why resort to lying to thousands of poor Wattpadders who offered you a follow?

That saddens me.

I don't think people should act like this. It's not very nice. I think people who act like this should be stopped. I wish the same Wattpadian Gods who made my first story disappear could go take a peek at what he is doing. I doubt if they will. But I hope so. They know who he is. Several good people have complained about this practice. I hope Wattpad responds.

Now maybe this practice is just genius. But to be honest I think it is deceitful and really really really not very nice at all. It vexes me.

Anyway. I better go. It's time to watch one of my favorite shows. The Price is Right. Just love that show. Especially that Drew Carey. He is hilarious. I used to watch his show "The Drew Carey Show". Man he was funny. I used to like him more when he was heavier. He looked healthier. He is so thin now. Like a skeleton. I think he needs to up his weight. It's okay to be big nowadays. He should quit dieting and just be more cautious about what he eats. It's almost like if he is just decaying away right in front of us. Poor guy. Still funny though.

Hope all you Wattpadders have a good day. Stay away from people who take advantage of you like the guy I DID NOT NAME. I hope he changes his ways. I hope Wattpad will do something to stop people who do that. Wattpadd will be a much better place.
