What the hell is this ZAYN crap featured as #1 on the Non-Fiction section? It isn't even a book! It's just a commercial for a book! Since when did Wattpad start advertising books on the featured list for money? They must be getting paid for this because why else would they feature this piece of crap as genuine writing? It isn't. This guy must have a team of writers out there writing it for him while the rest of us poor a-holes are trying to get out words out the honest way on a site that is supposed to be for the average person.
I saw this stupid thing the other day while doing some writing at a coffee shop. Just happen to check the non-fiction section looking for new stuff to get me inspired and I come along this crap. My daughter was with me and I guess she saw the look on my face and asked what was wrong. I told her and she responded "Hey dad don't worry about it, Wattpad is just a hoe like all the rest. It's all about the money."
Well I don't know about that. I wouldn't say Wattpad is necessarily a ho. I could be wrong though. I've been wrong about hoes before. But it doesn't matter I guess. Wattpad can do whatever it wants. It's got bills to pay just a like anybody else I guess. But just, you know, what the hell? We already get bombarded by advertising everywhere else on this damn thing and now you put this in competition on a list with honest amateur writers who are trying to get their words noticed?
Today you suck Wattpad. This is a misuse of the trust that honest writers put in you to get their words out there without having to compete with this type of sleazy Hollywood bullshit. Whoever said yes to this should go work at the Bunny Ranch in Nevada.
Today Wattpad is not about writing. It's about crap. It's about selling out to someone who can pay people to write for them just because they are famous. It's not about words it's about popularity. This is supposed to be a writing site, not a teen girly magazine for One-Direction fans (are they even a thing anymore?).
The least you could have done is not put this in non-fiction. This is all fiction. Give this crap its own section so people who want to read honest prose don't get bombarded with this flagrant advertising for this guy who isn't even writing his own book. A book that will make a million dollars anyway because of who he is. Not because of the writing or the story. You remember those things right Wattpad? At least that is what you claimed when you first started this 10 years ago. Remember those days? I don't think you do.
