I stay away from Wattpad for weeks at a time now. I do write, but just not here. And even if I do write for here, I do not write it on here. I've learned that lesson. Too many lost words whenever Wattpad itself decides to take an unannounced vacation from it's users. Of all the apps I use, this one is by far the one with the most glitches. I can't begin to understand why that is. All my other apps work better. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that it is because of all the apps you have, this is the one that gets the most input from you. We all have others like Facebook and Twitter (which never break down), but for the most part we (the writers) don't write as much on those as we do here. But hey, it is what it is and it has always been that way, at least since I have been on Wattpad.

Is it because you are in Canada? Is that it Wattpad? Ah the land of Mounties and maple syrup. What were you thinking Wattpad?
I had been wanting to come back and update a couple of stories the past couple of weeks but Wattpad wouldn't let me. Now that it does, I don't feel like it. Writers won't wait forever. Or, sometimes, not even 10 minutes. They are moody. They want to write when they want to write. You said you'd always be around for them and you lied.
If you are reading this then maybe Wattpad is back up. For now at least. But if 2018 is anything like 2017 then many should consider writing somewhere else. If not permanently, then at least for all those times Wattpad is sure to be down.
By the way Wattpad, how is the old Premium services going? You know the one. It's the one that you stick in my face every single time I swipe a page on my phone. I can't touch a single thing on Wattpad without you reminding me that I could be paying you to stop bothering me with these ads that keep telling me that I should start paying you to stop bothering me with these ads. See how stupid that sounds? But you do it anyway. Because as writers we are invested. You know that tens of thousands of people have written millions of words and made hundreds of connections, and that they are probably not going anywhere. If you bug them enough they will pay. If you torture them enough with even more and larger ads they will pay. Because every since you started the Premium version the ad attacks seem to have increased and your promise of Wattpad being free will soon be a long lost memory.
If you do come out to play Wattpad, could you at least play nice? Thanks.
