Setting: The Present
Location: Neverland
As the sun embraced the mountain tops as it had always done, Time resurfaced one last time, still yet in a hurry. The boy resurfaced first this time and one final time, this is what transpired:
(Girl resurfaces and upon spotting the boy, gets irritated)
Girl: (shrugging) Oh my days, not again!
Boy: (Sitting up from the sand)
Is this how much you've grown to dislike me?
Girl: I think you can call it hate at this point because It's beginning to tick me off.
Boy: (Puts his face to the ground) So this was all just a little game to you huh?
Girl: (Noticing his sad countenance...) I wouldn't call it a game but I don't know what to call it
Boy: Wow, how nice of you.
Girl: (Looking over at Him) I can't say that I didn't feel anything, or I don't even right now, (pauses) but I acted tough because I was too scared to tell you.
Boy: (Looking up sadly)
Tell me what?
Girl: (Turning away from his eyes.. ) Tell you that it can never work out between us, that I fell so hard that I..
Boy: (Stands to interrupt her)
That's enough, I get the message, I'll take my heart along with the pieces I can find and leave.
And as time re-emerged, ready to leave one last time, girl finds herself drifting away from the boy...
Girl: (Fighting tears) You know I never meant for it to end this way, please say something to me..
Boy: (Beginning to fade and too stunned to speak)
Well, I'm glad at least I got to play your game for some time. Tell the other guy I said he should take care of you.
Girl: (Fading slowly) I'm.. I'm sorry
Boy: (Fading slowly) Perhaps it could've worked in another life but well, here's my final goodbye.
Girl: (Turns to look away) Well, it was fun while it lasted. I guess all good things do have to come to an end, farewell Blue.
Boy: (Now rapidly fading...) Farewell Purple and thank you for everything.
Scene closes as time rounds up to leave one final time, she fades out leaving a sad purple hanging in the air and he fades out with almost no blue hanging back...
And as the darkness eats up the evening, time moves on and Neverland fades.
