Quinn came into the kitchen, setting my plate in front of me and I thanked her. I actually liked Quinn was nice and treated me as if I was her younger sister or something. Some might say I was getting too attached but I was fine with that for now, letting my guard down for someone I fully trusted.
We talked as I ate my lunch, she was my "nanny" to say since she watched me, fed me, and cared for me while Tony and Pepper did their own things. Quinn was also the one who always took me shopping since no one knew I was Tony's kid and he didn't want anyone to know, neither did I, both of us agreeing it was for safety reasons.

"Home." Tony announced as he walked into the kitchen.

"Hello, Mr. Stark." Quinn grabbed him, stopping him from leaving. "Would you like a sandwich?"

"No, I just came back from lunch." He replied. I glanced up as Quinn glared at him to talk to me.
He walked over. "So, school, good?"

"Sure." I replied, I glanced at Quinn who nodded for me to keep the conversation going. "Hey, I finished building the snow machine."

"Snow machine?"

"Christmas is in a few days." I say hoping it would remind him of the conversation we had about having a snowy Christmas. "Wanna check it out?"

"Can't kiddo, I have some work to do." He grabbed water from the fridge.

"Later?" I asked and he looked at me. I shrugged. "Nevermind. Good luck with whatever you're working on."

   "I'll try tomorrow."

"Kay." I nod and he pats my back, going downstairs. "Sure you will."

"Il prend plus soin de ces costumes stupides qu'il ne prend même soin de lui-même, sans parler de sa propre fille." Quinn muttered and turned to me.

"Je m'en fiche."

I drank the rest of my juice before I got off the chair and sat on the couch, pulling my notebook into my lap and starting my homework.

"It's not just me, right? He's working more and more in that stupid garage."

"That garage is pretty smart." I joke and she sat next to me. "It's fine—"

"No it isn't. Tony said he would try so he should try. Especially now, during the holidays, your first Christmas together."

I look at her as she rants, switching between french and english, as she teared into Tony's lack of being a father.

"I'll come with you, we can sled down the hill." Quinn smiled. "Build a snowman, make snow angels."

"Yeah." I smiled, fiddling with my bracelet charms.

"Hey," She lightly nudged. "We're gonna have fun this Christmas, with or without him."

"Okay." I smiled and she got up.

"Start it up." I tell IVAA to start the machine.

After New York happened I told myself I would try to get along with Tony and form a real relationship with him, so anytime he asked to do something together we would do it and he often helped me when I "needed" it. But lately he's been very distant, I know it had to do with him dying in the wormhole but I didn't say anything because it wasn't my place.
It was Tony so I knew he wouldn't want to talk about it with some kid, especially one that's his kid and he wants respect from. I never talk to him about my time in ECHO.

"Get your shoes on, we need to get some stuff from the store." Quinn says.

   "Stuff?"

"Hot chocolate and whatever you want to be paired with that." She smiles and I smile back. "Come on."
