Miguel and Theresa train together everyday and form a close bound. Months go by and Theresa is working behind the cashier.
Eli walks in with his mom and he immediately turns around and walks out. She frowns but shrugs it off as she gets another costumer.
A few days later she's sitting next Aisha, a new cobra Kai member, when Sam puts her tray next Theresa. "Oh, don't even think about it," Aisha says.
"Come on. I need a place to sit," Sam sighs.
"Oh, you can go sit with Kyler. I hear he doesn't mind that you suck," Aisha smiles as Theresa looks at Sam with a smile.
Sam confronts Kyler but him and his friends make fun of her. Miguel, demetri and Eli walk in and Miguel walks up to Theresa.
He throws his tray next hers and she looks up at him. "Hey, Kyler!" He says as she gets up getting the signal.
"Why don't you shut the hell up and stop being such an asshole?" Miguel asks walking to Kyler.
"Want another beat down, 'Rhea?" Kyler asks shoving Miguel's chest.
Miguel shakes his head stepping closer again as his friends walk around him. "I'm ready for your lame-ass karate this time," Kyler says shoving Miguel into Theresa.
Miguel looks back at her grabbing her hand and giving it a squeeze. "It's not lame-ass karate," he says as Kyler tries to hit him but he blocks it and holds Kyler, "it's cobra Kai." He says hitting Kyler.
Theresa looks at the fight that breaks out between Miguel, Kyler and his gang. She kicks a chair when one of them tries to hit Miguel from the back.
When the fight is over Miguel gets pulled off the table by the principal and taken away.
Later that day Theresa is training with Aisha in the dojo when Johnny walks over to her. "Resa?" He asks putting his hand on her shoulder.
"Yes, dad," she says turning to him.
"Come with me," he says nudging his head.
She follows him and he stops by his car. "You are ready for this. It was mine when I was training for my first tournament in '81," he smiles as she picks it up.
She smiles and hugs him tightly. "Thanks dad," she whispers in his chest.
He kisses her head. "I love you, Princess," he smiles.
