Demetri looks at Resa as she's laying in her bed. "So, both you and Eli have decided to quit karate?" He asks jumping on next her.
"Yeah," she sighs not looking at him.
"Was it a decision you made together? Or you both decided separately?" He asks with raised eyebrows.
"I was done when Miguel fell from the balcony, I just kept going until I couldn't anymore. I've hit rock bottom, D," she sighs looking at him.
He sighs and pulls her into a a hug. "You're one of the best I know, Rees. We need you for the tournament," he says softly.
"Give up, man. Leave her alone," Eli says walking in and putting a cup of tea on the nightstand.
"Why? You're both incredibly good. You could both win the tournament. You should both come to Miyagi-Do," Demetri says getting up.
Resa sits in the bathtub looking at the tattoo on her wrist. Her hair is in a bun as the shower runs on her back. There are still bruises healing from her fight with Cobra Kai.
Eli walks in and puts his clothes on the closed toilet. He strips his clothes before getting in. She looks up at him before looking back at the tattoo.
The shower still runs on her back as he sits in front of her. "You okay?" He asks softly.
"I want to go back," she mumbles.
He frowns and moves closer. "You sure?" He asks putting his hands on her cheeks so she's looking at him.
"I want to beat Tory to the ground," she says with a smirk.
He looks at her before nodding. "Okay," he smiles.
The next day the two walk into Miyagi-Do as Demetri stands on the platform. Daniel stops and looks at the two. "Guess who are back," he smiles.
Resa's hair is still in a bun which is how she mostly wears it and Eli has his hands in his pockets. "Yeah, we have a tournament to prepare for," she smiles.
Eli nods and Daniel smiles. "For that you'll both need Gi's," he says before walking away.
Sam runs over to Resa and pulls her away. "Show me, show me, show me," she smiles jumping happily.
Resa pulls up her sleeve and Sam looks at the tattoo. The tattoo has a butterfly and a Hawk. With flowers around those two, "what's that?" Sam asks trying to read a sentence.
"It's something I tell Eli when he's feeling insecure about his lip," Resa smiles.
"'Beautiful'" Sam reads out loud with a smile.
