3.1 aftermath

Resa gets her bag searched before moving on into the school. She walks past Eli who stops talking with his friends and looks at her. Her hand goes to her blue eye before she walks on.

"What do you think happened?" Bert asks him.

"I don't know," he says before walking away.

During classes it's clear that she can't turn back into a ghost. She dreads that people talk to her and laugh at her. During lunch she sits in the cafeteria in silence.

Kyler spots her and walks over to her with a smirk. "Hey, pumpkin. How you doing?" He says sitting next her way to close for her liking.

She sighs looking not up as he puts his hand on her thigh. She takes a deep breath trying to stay calm until he moves his mouth to her neck and kisses it.

She lets out a scream grabbing his hair and pushing his face into the table. She holds him there with tears in her eyes as he pleads with her.

"Leave me the fuck alone," she says before she walks off.

She makes eye contact with Eli who sighs as she walks out of the cafeteria. After school she goes to work and around midnight she gets home.

She throws her food on the table and sits on the couch with her face in her hands. She winces at her black eye and sighs as she throws her food across the living room letting out a scream.

She kicks the table and looks around the room heavily breathing until there's a knock on her door. She turns to it and rips it open with force, "what?" She asks aggressively.

Tory looks at her with raised eyebrows. "Never mind. I'll come back later," she says turning around.

Resa calms down and grabs Tory's wrist. "Don't go. Why did you come by?" She asks.

Tory seems to hesitate for a few seconds before letting out a sigh. "For this," she says softly before she pulls Resa in for a kiss.

Resa frowns and doesn't react at first making Tory pull back quickly. "Sorry, i thought..." she starts stammering.

"No, it's okay," Resa smiles pulling Tory inside and kissing her as she throws the door closed.
