Resa is sparring with Miguel as the rest of the students stand around them.

Resa laughs as Miguel softly hits her hand. "Come on, Diaz. Harder," she says making him laugh shaking his head.

"Quiet!" Johnny suddenly yells as Miguel pulls back and him, Resa and Aisha stand in position.

He walks around the room looking at people and insulting them. "When I look around this dojo, I don't see cobra Kai material. I see losers, I see nerds. I see a fat kid with a funny hat with his tits popping out. But in my short time as a sensei, I've also seen some miracles. So, maybe there's some hope for you yet," Johnny says looking at his students.

"But first I need to see where ya'll at. So everybody, fall in. That means line up," Johnny says as the others just frown at him.

A few days later she walks around the school alone. Kyler bumps her into the lockers as she rounds a corner. "Hey, sweetpea," he says standing against her and moving his hand over her cheek.

She pushes him off and kicks him in the balls. "Leave me the fuck alone!" She yells before turning and looking at Eli who makes eye contact with her.

Later that day she walks into the dojo as Eli and her dad get into a fight. Eli storms off and she looks at Johnny disappointed. "Cant you just stop with the insults?" She yells before storming past him and after Eli.

She enters the bathroom after knocking. "Get out," Eli says not looking at her.

"Eli? It's me, Theresa," she says softly closing the door behind her.

He looks at her and chuckles sarcastically. "You wanna kick me into the ground any further then your dad?" He asks.

She shakes her head walking over to him and putting her hand on his shoulder. He shoots around and walks over to her with tears falling. "I'm ugly, Rees," he says through his teeth.

She frowns at him hearing the new nickname. "You're beautiful," she whispers staring into his eyes.

He shakes his head looking down. "Funny," he says walking away.

She grabs his arm and pulls him back around. He stands close to her towering over her but she doesn't get scared. "I will never be scared of you, Eli," she says.

"I'm not beautiful, I'm not scary, I'm a nerd," he says stepping back.

She smiles softly. "Haven't you noticed? I'm the biggest nerd alive," she shrugs putting her hands on his cheeks.

He grabs her wrists leaning towards her. "You're not a nerd," he says as his nose almost hers.

"Then neither are you," she says getting the sudden urge to kiss him.

He seems to get the same idea as he suddenly presses his lips against hers. She kisses him back as his hands move to her hips pulling her against him.

A few days later she stands next Miguel as she waits for Eli to come in. "You sure?" She asked him.

"Just do it," he smiled.

She bleached his hair and painted it blue. Then she cut it and helped him style it. "Perfect," he smiled standing in front of the mirror.

"Three more absences, Sensei," Miguel says next Aisha.

"Bunch of pussies," Aisha says with a frown next Resa.

"No, it's my fault," johnny says walking in front of them.

"Since you joined Cobra Kai, I have been hard on you. I've called you names. I've humiliated you. Some of you I've hit. And for that, I don't apologize. Cobra Kai is about strength. If you're not strong on the outside, you can't be strong on the outside. And right now, you're all weak. And I know that, because I was you. I used to have no friends. I used to be the weirdo kid. Not that weird, I still hooked up with babes and all, but... the point is I wasn't always the badass sensei I am today. Just like a Cobra, I had to shed my looser skin to find my true power. And you guys will too," Johnny smiles looking at Resa who nods proudly.

The door opens and Eli comes in. Resa looks at him with a smile as the rest of the dojo is in shock. "Eli, what happened?" Miguel asks in shock.

"I'm flipping the script," Eli smiles.

"Wait. Are you the kid with the lip? Nice cut, bro. You see that? It doesn't matter if you're a loser or a nerd or a freak. All that matters is that you become badass. Hawk. Fall in," Johnny says.

Eli smiles and kicks off his shoes to stand next Resa. "Fear does not exist in this dojo, does it?" Johnny asks Eli.

"No, sensei," Eli smiles.

"Weakness does not exist in this dojo, does it?" Johnny asks Resa.

"No," Resa looks up at him, "sensei." She smiles with raised eyebrows.

"Pain does not exist in this dojo, does it?" Johnny asks Aisha.

"No, sensei," she says.

"Defeat does not exist in this dojo, does it?" Johnny asks Miguel.

"No, sensei," Miguel says looking up.

Johnny turns his back to them. "Class, are you ready to learn the way of the fist?" He asks.

"Yes, sensei," his students say in sync.
