"Hey," Eli smiles looking at Resa as she stands in front of her mirror looking at the bruise on her stomach.

She look up with a soft smile, "hey." She says softly her smile gone again as she looks down.

"You okay?" He asks walking over and hugging her from behind.

She leans into his touch his long brushed out hair in her neck giving her goosebumps. "I'm coping," she sighs closing her eyes putting her head in his neck.

"I know," he says softly.

"Sid told me, that I should never give up on us. Because he likes...liked you," she whispers as his hands intertwine with hers.

"He always gave you good advice," he says looking at her seeing she's trying to hold back a sob.

She takes a deep breath. "I can't do this, Eli. I feel so much guilt because I wasn't there. It was so sudden, I just...I don't remember his voice anymore. I don't remember his hugs, I miss him so much," she lets out a sob hiding her face in his shirt.

"He was your grandfather, it's okay to miss him. But you can't lose yourself in the grief, you still gotta be you and have fun with your friends. Because that's what life is about. Yes, people die. Yes, it hurts, but in the end, they wouldn't want you to miss out on the good things because you're missing them," he says softly holding her close as he comforts her.

"I guess that's the glory of love. Caring so much about someone that you're willing to love them when they're long gone," she sighs wiping away her tears.
