"Are you nervous? About the fight?" Resa asks her brother.
"Miguel is like my brother now. Of course i am. But with dad and Carmen having the baby. We can't get any bad blood between us," Robby sighs as he looks at Miguel on the other side of the table.
Resa nudges his shoulder with hers. "Give me your hand," she smiles.
Robby gives her his hand and she puts it on her belly. "This is what you're fighting for. Family. You both are family. We got a sibling on the way. And you have a cousin on the way," she smiles making him nod.
That night she stands with Miguel. "Are you okay? You seem twitchy?" She says looking at him.
"Nervous. That's all," he sighs.
"Well, you both are. Just remember, we are all fighting for the future," she smiles.
Miguel nods. "But mostly for our family," she says nudging his shoulder.
Resa stands next her father as the boys start fighting, Miguel and Robby both fight for captain ship on the Sekai Taikai.
She looks around for Tory, but she can't see her. She walks away to call her when Tory parks her car clearly disheveled as she jumps out of her car. "Tory? Hey, we have been worried about you? Where have you been?" Resa says as she walks after Tory.
Tory ignores her and she walks into the match as her brother is on the ground. Both Miguel and robby are clearly on edge. Resa walks over to her father with a worried glance at Tory.
She watches the rest of the fight until her brother wins. She still claps as the boys give each other a fist bump. She cheers as she walks over to them and hugs them both at the same time.
Resa stands next Miguel and Robby as the girls start fighting. Tory goes in with the heavy attack but Sam still wins a point. Tory loses it completely and Resa steps forward with a frown.
"Something happened with her mom," she whispers as Amanda walks to Daniel to stop the fight.
Daniel rushes onto the mat as Tory almost hits Sam in the face with her fist. Daniel catches her fiat and looks at Tory. "The fights over," he says.
"That's not fair. That could have been a point," Tory says as she points to Sam.
"What the hell are you doing man? Im the ref. I'll decide when the fights over," Johnny says stepping in between Tory and Daniel.
Tory is pacing around while Resa has her hand on her belly. "I'll explain. I promise," Daniel says leading Johnny away from the girls.
"Don't stop the fight, please," Tory begs them at the same time as Daniel says, "i just cant do it now. Not in front of everybody."
"Im fine, dad. Really," Sam says walking towards them.
"No, Sam. It's not that. Come on. Please, girls. Off the deck. Let's go," Daniel says going to walk off.
"Don't tell them what to do. Im their sensei too," Johnny says making Daniel turn to him again.
"Well, then. End the fight," Daniel says.
Johnny asks the one question that makes Tory snap and scream out loud for the first time what happened. Really acknowledging what happened. "why?"
"Because my mother died!"
Resa feels her heart stop for a minute. Tory gave everything for her family. She loved her mother and brother with everything she had. She was her mom's little girl and she loved her so much.
She remembers that Tory had said something about her mom's medicine being downgraded because her mom was asking better. But she died within the last two days, shocking everybody.
Tory ends up storming off as she doesn't get away. The sensei's storm off and Resa sits down with Eli next her. "What happens now?" He asks with a sigh.
"You will go to the Sekai Taikai," she says rubbing her belly.
"What about you?" He asks.
"Im coming too. As a support for you," she smiles.
A week later, Resa stands in the kitchen with Eli. She's making them some dinner when she feels a pain she has never felt before. The pains keep happening and before midnight she is rushed to the hospital by an ambulance when her waterbreaks. It's red, blood is everywhere and she loses consciousness the moment her water breaks.
The baby gets taken out 3 months to early and within a week she is out of the hospital. The others are all training at the dojo when Resa and Eli make their way to the dojo with their little boy.
Everybody comes to have a look at the baby and ask Resa how she is doing. "You are okay tho?" Devon asks.
"Yeah. Baby boy is almost 2 months old and i cant wait to be back in the all valley next year," Resa smiles hugging her.
"About that..." Johnny says walking over.
"Resa, i am a good fighter. But for this dojo to win, we need the best. So I have given up my spot to the Sekai Taikai. Because Kreese is out, and he probably has found a way to get Cobra Kai there. Even if we are not sure, so...You will be the female captain to go to the Sekai Taikai," Devon says with a proud smile making Resa frown.
"But you wanted it so much," Resa says to Devon.
"It's okay. You fought for this, more than any of us," she smiles hugging Resa who is still in shock.
So, thats where they go. To Barcelona, Spain. Resa stands next Eli, she smiles as she looks around her. They had expected it, but they didn't want it to be true.
Cobra Kai was there. With Kreese. Sensei Kim and Tory.
