Tabitha moaned, stumbling to her feet before rubbing her sore backside. At least the fall did not seem to do any real damage. She blinked her brown eyes before checking her surroundings.
Beneath her, a soft green moss cloaked the forest floor, giving a bit as she moved about, providing a somewhat springy feel. A multitude of trees erupted from the mossy floor, towering above her, providing a canopy.
She bent down and prodded the moss, finding it slightly damp. Thinking back to her experience in The Realm Between Life and Death, the realization that it barely counted as wet relieved her. She let out a breath, happy that she need not worry about wet feet (a welcomed change from what she faced in that last place).
"So this is The Forest of No Return." She took a few steps, her shoes pressing into the moss. Rays of light filtered down from above, illuminating the scenery. Tabitha closed her eyes for a moment, enjoying the gentle breeze and pleasantly warm air. Its foreboding name aside, she thought this place seemed quite nice for now.
She opened her eyes and brought a hand to her stomach when it growled. "I need food," she grumbled, looking about. Soon, the pink haired girl found herself before a bush filled with berries, her mouth watering from the mere sight of them. "Can I eat these?" she puzzled, and her Curiosity kicked in. "Highly poisonous. At least that cheat isn't useless."
