The water splashed as Tabitha swung her staff up out of the stream's water but no fish came up with it. Her brown eyes watched in annoyance as the mess of water droplets rejoined the stream. Sighing, she shifted her weight (the water licking at her thighs) and lined up another attempt. The water's surface rippled as her rod entered, but once again, she failed to score a fish (failed to even touch a fish). Huffing, the pink haired woman thrust her armament into the stream's bed.
"Is this even possible? Sareth certainly did it." She glanced at the succubus who was sitting cross-legged on the stream's bank, a smile on the winged woman's face. "Actually, she made this look easy. Maybe there's some kind of trick to it." Tabitha's brown eyes went to her staff, turning from the upper portion of the armament to the lower portion. "Wait a moment. Was I aiming at the wrong place." Due to the refraction of light, her staff appeared to bend at the water's surface.
With a confident smile gracing her face, the pink haired woman pulled her weapon free. After picking out her next target, she plunged her staff back into the stream and then swung the armament upwards. Once again, she missed, no fish coming up with it.
"Figures that it wouldn't be that easy," she groaned in dismay. "Guess this is going to take awhile." She returned to scanning the stream, looking for yet another fish to target.
