Tabitha walked along the tunnel's brown brick wall, a cool white light shining down upon her. The flickering fluorescent lighting illuminated the many cracks within the wall, the concrete at her feet having the same sorry state to it. The pinked haired girl shivered when her hand brushed something wet.
Turning her brown eyes to the tunnel wall, she spied a trickle of water bleeding from a crack. The flowing water drained into yet another crack in the floor. The scene repeated itself numerous times with quite a bit of water coming out of the wall just to disappear into the gray concrete floor. At least this water looked normal instead of red. Paying it no mind, she continued deeper into the tunnel.
Her steps came to a sudden stop, the tunnel becoming flooded before her. She blinked in annoyance (not happy with the prospect of continuing on with wet feet). Looking back, she weighed her options.
Considering what was chasing her, going back was a no go. Sighing, she resigned herself to the soggy life, inching closer to the water's edge. She stepped into the ankle deep water, quivering at its cool touch as it soaked through her shoes and socks. Taking a moment to get used to the feel, she shifted her weight from one leg to the other. Memories of The Realm Between Life and Death and a certain light up goddess flooded back to her. Grimacing at the thoughts, she began splashing down the tunnel.
