"So I ran up that weird stairway towards that freaky eyeball thing," Tabitha said before taking a sip of tea. Sareth sat next to her at the table, watching the pink haired girl with interest. Crackers, cheese, and tea had been laid out in front of the two women.
"What happened next?" the succubus inquired, her two-tone eyes big with wonder.
"Well, I poked the creepy thing with the Tears of the Lost." She put a piece of cheese on a cracker and took a little nibble of the combination.
"That was the glowing dagger, right?"
"Yeah, but it kind of broke after that."
"Kind of broke?"
"It stopped glowing. By the way, this cheese is amazing." Tabitha took another bite of cheese and cracker before washing it down with a sip of tea. Her host watched with an enchanting smile.
"I'm glad you like the cheese." She daintily picked up a cracker herself and took a little bite. "Would you care to stay the night? It is getting pretty late, and I'm sure you'd like to get your beauty sleep."
"Sure. Definitely better than hiking through a dark forest. Kind of got lucky with some fireflies on the way here oddly enough." The brown eyed woman in the red dress placed her teacup down, looking to her host.
"In that case, I'll personally see you to your quarters," the blond succubus said, standing up, her wings giving a cute little flutter. Smiling, she reached out and took Tabitha's hand.
