Tabitha sat up, blinking her brown eyes, still drenched in red rain. She looked up towards the top of the ethereal stairway. Droplets of red continued to fall, splattering down upon rooftop and stairs. At the peak of the stairs, The Wretched Eye continued to contort in agony, the wound inflicted by the Tears of the Lost having grown (nearly bisecting the great beast vertically).

The dark god's numerous tentacles flayed about aimlessly, their flesh burning and popping. Little bits of tentacle rained downwards from the monstrosity as the chaotic mess of writhing appendages broke down. The fissure continued to grow in its oversized eye until the monstrosity's main body split in half, the remnants of its tentacles dropping away. The two parts of the cleaved eye descended, dissolving into a crimson haze (which flooded the city), the red drizzling finally stopping.

"Broken Tears of the Lost." Tabitha's eyes went to dagger in her hand. Once a glowing white, it now shown an obsidian black. "Guess killing a god broke the god killing aspect. Still seems like an OK weapon though." After a little shrug, she stuffed the Broken Tears of the Lost into her Pouch of Hammerspace.

Yawning, the pink haired girl peeked over the rooftop's edge. The red haze left over from The Wretched Eye's defeat hung close to the surface of the still red lake. Overhead, though, the sky had returned to its daytime blue. Smiling, she lay back on the rooftop, glad that fight was over.
