Tabitha stumbled through the forest like a zombie, her stomach rumbling. "Need food," she mumbled to herself, dragging herself onward from sheer determination. She staggered by more berries of the poison variety. Why was there so many poisonous berries here? Was this some sort of poison berry thicket?
"So hungry." Her hunger had her on the verge of tears. "What I would give for some pizza." She closed her eyes, fantasizing about the cheesy goodness. "I can almost smell it." She sniffed the air, her brown eyes popping open. "I can smell it!" Though faint, the delectable smell wafted to her, perking her up. The pink haired girl broke into a dash, letting her nose lead her, the lovely smell of pizza growing stronger. She skidded to a halt, her jaw dropping in awe.
Before Tabitha, a majestic tree stood gloriously. Literal slices of pizza decked out its branches like fruit. Little bits of steam rose from the delicious looking slices, an enticing aroma hanging in the air.
"Pizza tree. Slices of pizza as fruit. Edible. Finally, food!" The wide eyed girl snatched a low hanging slice, juggling it a bit since it was hot. She proceeded to blow on it and then took a bite. "So good!" The hungry girl scarfed the rest of the slice down and went for seconds.
After eating her fill, Tabitha yawned, stretching her arms. "I'm kind of thirsty now. I wonder if soda trees are a thing here."
