Third Person:
Nezuko and Kanao walk down the path to Nezuko's next mission.
Nezuko: You better?
Kanao: A bit. But now I'm feeling very hungry.
Nezuko: Don't you have any food?
Kanao: No.
Be takes a onigiri out of her pocket and hands it to Kanao.
Nezuko: Here, take one of these.
Kanao: Really? Thank you so much.
Kanao takes a bite out of the onigiri and looks at Nezuko. Aren't you gonna eat anything?
Nezuko: Hm, that was all I had.
Kanao looks at Nezuko then the onigiri. She splits it in half and hands a piece to Nezuko.
Kanao: Hey, you take this half.
Nezuko: You sure about that? Thanks a lot.
Nezuko and Kanao eat the onigiri as they continue to walk.
~Timeskip~
The pair are still walking.
Nezuko: I know what you mean when you say that you're terrified of demons, but you should try not to worry your sparrow.
Kanao: Huh? You're saying... it was distressed? How could you tell?
Nezuko: Let's see, he says you're always whining about not wanting to go to work, and you're always hitting on boys, and you snore really loudly, yep that covers it.
Sparrow: Cheep.
Kanao: Wait- he said all that? You can understand bird language?
Nezuko: Yeah.
Kanao: No way! You've gotta be lying to me!
Crow: CAW! Start running! Start running! Run Nezuko! Run Kanao! Both of you must head to your next location! Run Nezuko! Run Kanao!
Kanao starts whimpering before she falls to the ground screaming.
Kanao: That crow is talking to us!
~Timeskip~
Kanao: Hey, Nezuko. Maybe I should just hang back for now. Even if I tag along, I'm not gonna be able to do anything.
We must be getting closer to the demon now, Nezuko thinks. Something has to be up ahead.
Nezuko gasps and looks up. She's in front of a house. A house?
Nezuko and Kanao reach the house and stand in front of it.
Nezuko and Kanao look at the house. Nezuko turns around and sees two kids who look scared in the shadows of the trees.
Kanao: There, are kids here?
Nezuko: They look scared. Hey there. Is there a reason you're out here by yourselves?
Nezuko approaches the kids but this terrifies them more. Nezuko stops once she realizes this.
They're definitely terrified.
Nezuko: Guess what? I've got something really cool here. Wanna see it? Ta-da! It's a friendly sparrow.
The sparrow chirps in Nezuko's hands.
Nezuko: See, isn't he cute?
The kids calm down and kneel on the floor, hugging each other.
Nezuko: Talk to me. Did something happen? Is this your house?
Boy: No. No, it's not. This is... this house is... it, it belongs to a... monster! Our big brother got taken away. We were walking down at night and this thing appeared in front of us. It went straight for our brother never giving us a glance.
