Hey, guys. Thanks for the reviews as well as those who both favorited and follow the story. I'm glad that there are some people who enjoy the story. As I'm sure you've noticed, Ruri is coming into the story early. It was inspired by Imagine97's fic (check it out, it's really good). This is my way of giving Ruri justice for the way she was handled in ARC-V.

Here are some answers to some reviews.

Lena Reigns: You don't have to worry about Yuzu being the damsel in distress. While there will be moments where she seems like the damsel, she will fight back and get away from her captors. As for her deck...I'm sorry, but she will continue to use the Melodious Deck...I've already thought up of some combinations for them and using an original deck seems like a lot of work.

Godofwar01: Yuya knows the summoning methods because Sugoroku has every type of card in his shop. Yuya's job is basically organizing cards based on their rarity and category. At times, Sugoroku would give Yuya little lessons on the summoning methods due to his travels in his youth.

Anyway, on to the chapter.

Chapter 3: Yuzu's Twin?! The Lyrical Luscinia Deck

Maiami City – Alleyway

Ruri kept trying to connect back to her friends but she kept on getting an error on her Duel Disk. "What have you gotten yourself into this time, Ruri?" Ruri sighed.

She remembered how it all started. It was back in her home, Heartland City.

Heartland City – Heartland Tower (A few hours ago)

Ruri stood with her brother Shun, facing Allen and Sayaka who held up some Duel Disks. "A dimensional transporter in the Duel Disk?" Ruri asked.

"Yes, we managed to hack into one of the Academia's Duel Disk and found the code that lets them transport between dimensions." Allen revealed. "Now we've incorporated them in the Duel Disks."

"But we still have to test them." Sayaka said.

"Oh, come on, you're being paranoid. It's an exact copy of the code. If it worked for them it'll work for us." Allen argued.

"No, Sayaka is right. We need to make sure it works." Shun argued.

"Okay, fine. So, which of you is gonna do it?" Allen asked.

"Don't ask stupid questions! I'm gonna do it." Shun went for a Duel Disk.

"Wait, let me do it." Ruri stopped Shun.

"What are you doing, Ruri?" Shun argued.

"Shun, you're an important asset to the Resistance. You're needed here more than me." Ruri said.

"But you're my sister. If anything happened to you...."

"I'm not a fragile person. I can take care of myself." Ruri argued. "Besides, it's just a test run. I'll be back before you know it."

Shun growled for a bit before turning around and crossing his arms. "Fine."

Ruri nodded and took the Duel Disk and put it on. "Okay, the functionality is working." Ruri said.

"Okay, now choose a dimension, just not that one." Allen said.

"Okay, this one." Ruri selected the one labeled Standard. "See you in a bit." The Duel Disk activated and Ruri glowed before she disappeared.
