The Future! Destined or Created

Here we are with Chapter 19. I know some of you expected Yuzu vs Mieru, but I already have someone else to Duel Yuzu. He was already mentioned in the previous chapter. I'll give a huge shoutout to those who can identify him.

Anyway, on to the chapter.

Chapter 19: The Future! Destined or Created

Maiami City – Unno Divination School

In a dark room, a small girl was laying cards on her table next to her crystal orb. "Everyone is rushing around in a panic to qualify for the Junior Youth Championship, but I'm just fine. Because my fortune-telling has foretold me that I will meet the necessary points within these next three days!"

"And so..." She turned a card over to reveal it to be Arcana Force VI – The Lovers. "Th-This is!" Aura fantasized about meeting a handsome boy who looked at her with love.

"Kya!" Mieru squealed as she fell back. "I-I'm going to meet my fated person?! Oh no! Whatever shall I do?"

Sakaki Residence

Yuya was at his desk looking over his cards. "Hm...this could help me enhance Xyz...but that would sacrifice Synchro and I might need that in the future. And I haven't really touched Fusion in a while."

"This is really tough. I want to use all the summon methods for my deck, but it's hard to balance it out. I could make separate decks, but I don't have the cards." Yuya sighed.

He then saw Yuzu's Melodious Flower Dragon. "Oh, that's right, I should let Yuzu know I have this." Yuya started typing a message on his Duel Disk and pressed send only to get an error.

"Oh, you've got to be kidding me. Due to maintenance, we are unable to send your message. Rest assured, your message will automatically be sent once the maintenance is over. But that could take forever." Yuya got frustrated.

The Next Day – Sakaki Residence

Yuya was woken up by his Duel Disk giving off a ringtone. "What the hell?" Yuya looked at his clock and saw it was only 6:30. "Who's calling this early?"

Yuya reached and answered his Duel Disk. "Hello?"

"Good morning, Yuya!" Nico shouted over the line.

"Ah! Nico!" Yuya flinched.

"Time to get up and come over to Unno Divination School! Your next opponent is waiting for you." Nico said.

"Why are you doing this? Can't this wait till later?" Yuya complained.

"That will be a no. Remember, a Pro must be ready at any time. Now, chop-chop." Nico ended the call.

"I'm gonna kill that man." Yuya got out of his bed. He took a quick shower and put on his clothes, and put on his new goggles since his old ones sunk into the ocean following his Duel with Shun.

"Alright, now I need my de—Argh!" Yuya accidently hit his desk with his toe and some of his cards fell to the floor. "Damn it, Nico! I know you're not here but I'm still blaming you!" Yuya quickly gathered his cards and headed out.

Unno Divination School

Inside Unno Divination School, the seats were filled with students wearing black cloaks that covered their faces while Mieru happily swooned. "Soon my fated person will be coming here, won't he?"

"I wonder what kind of person he is...A super cool elite Duelist?! Or maybe a wild, buff one?! Or it might even be a kind one with family values!"

Mieru felt like she was gonna burst. "Hurry up and get here, my fated person!"
