Revenge Match! Yuzu vs Masumi

Hello, everyone. Here we are with Chapter 24. I'm sorry that I couldn't upload this sooner, but my allergies have been killing me. Despite taking allergy medication, the weather really drains me and it's hard to concentrate when typing.

But enough of that, on with the chapter!

Chapter 24: Revenge Match! Yuzu vs Masumi

"Alright, let's continue to ride this momentum! You Show!" Shuzo cheered.

"Fight!" Yuya, Ruri, Futoshi, Ayu and Tatsuya shouted.

"You Show!"

"Fight!"

Yuzu made her way down the steps of the arena and she saw Rin climbing the same stairs. The two looked at each other and they both nodded before raising their hands and high fiving as they passed each other.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for our second match of the afternoon of the Junior Youth Division! Today's competitors are You Show Duel School's Yuzu Hiiragi, the daughter of You Show's Principal, Shuzo Hiiragi and LDS top Fusion Course Duelist, Masumi Kotsu!" Nico announced. Both Yuzu and Masumi entered the field and took their places.

"Big Sis Yuzu, do your best!" Ayu cheered.

"Make this our third win today!" Tatsuya added.

"You got this, Yuzu!" Yuya added encouragement.

Masumi took out her Duel Disk and placed it on her arm, while Yuzu simply raised her arm as she already had her Duel Disk equipped. "Masumi Kotsu...she's not the type to slack off after defeating an opponent. I get the feeling that she's stronger than before, but so am I. I won't lose to her to anyone ever again!"

"You look brighter than last time." Masumi noticed.

"Losing to you contributed to that." Yuzu admitted. "But this time will be different! I'm going all out from the very beginning so don't you dare underestimate me!"

"This is the Maiami Championship. One cannot afford to underestimate their opponent!" Masumi declared. "I will continue to shine brighter than you!"

"Now that both of our Duelists are on the field, it's time to choose our Action Field!" The giant card in the air started to spin around before stopping. "Action Field, on! Field Magic: Infinite Bridges!" The Real Solid Vision machine activated and it produced a bottomless pit with multiple bridges crisscrossing and connecting to each other by stairs. "If you take one false step, you'll fall to hell! Now, Duelists! Begin!"

"This time I'm gonna win!" Yuzu shouted.

"Bring it!" Masumi shouted.

"Duel!" Yuzu and Masumi declared.

"I'll go first! Draw!" Masumi drew her card. "I activate the Magic Card: Gem Knight Fusion! This card allows me to Fusion Summon using Gem-Knight monsters in my hand!"

"Which one will she bring out?" Yuzu wondered.

"From my hand, I fuse three Gem-Knights! Sapphire, Garnet and Crystal!" Masumi sent them to the Graveyard and raised her hand as the three monsters entered the swirling vortex.

"Solid blue will! Red truth! Glass eyes! Create a whirlpool of light and shine bright as you become one! Fusion Summon! Appear! Supreme radiance who illuminates everything! Gem-Knight Master Dia (ATK: 2900, LV: 9)!" Masumi summoned her strongest monster straightaway.
