Almost there guys. We are almost towards the end of Part 1 and I am super excited to share it with you.

There are no questions to answer so let's jump right on.

Chapter 45: Surpass the Gods! Lightning Flame Dragon!

Yuya vs Marik

Yuzu, Gongenzaka, Sawatari and Dennis joined up with the others. "How is the Duel going?" Yuzu asked.

"Yuya managed to defeat Osiris and has the lead." Ruri answered.

"But I get a feeling the Duel is just getting started." Serena watched.

Field: Scale 1 Dragonpulse Magician, Scale 8 Dragonpit Magician, Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon (ATK: 2000, OVU: 1), Odd-Eyes Lightning Dragon (ATK: 7000, LV: 10), Field Magic: Supreme King's Colosseum, Equip Magic: Supreme King's Claws, 2 set cards.

Marik LP: 3000, Hand: 6

"You impress me, Yuya Sakaki." Marik smiled. "For you to destroy one of the Egyptian Gods is an impressive feat all on its own. But the winner of this Duel will still be me. In my deck, I have two more Gods, and they're both stronger than Osiris."

"Even so, Supreme King Dragon – Odd-Eyes Lightning Dragon absorbed Osiris's effect, gaining the power of a god." Yuya pointed out. "It can destroy the other god that is ranked the same as Osiris!"

"Let's find out. My turn! Draw!" Marik drew his card. "Using the Scale 3 White Butterfly and the Scale 11 Purple Sword, I set the Pendulum Scale!" Marik played another scale.

"With this, I can simultaneously summon monsters from Levels 4 to 10! Pendulum Summon! Appear my servants!" The portal opened.

"Gil Garth (ATK: 1800, LV: 4)! Juragedo (ATK: 1700, LV: 4)! Legend Devil (ATK: 1500, LV: 6)! And Executioner – Makyura (ATK: 1600, LV: 4)!" Marik summoned four monsters this time. "Now I release Makyura, Legend Devil and Juragedo!" The three monsters disappeared.

"Another one already!" Sawatari exclaimed.

"God with the fist that turns everything to rubble! Appear before us and crush my foe! Come forth! Giant God Soldier of Obelisk (ATK: 4000, 10)!" A large blue skinned monster with blue wings appeared in a flash of light.

"He's taking advantage of the Pendulum Summon to get his releases." Gongenzaka pointed out.

"But Odd-Eyes Lightning Dragon is still stronger than Obelisk." Yuzu pointed out.

"When Makyura is sent to the Graveyard, I'm allowed to activate a Trap Card in my hand! I activate the Continuous Trap: Call of the Living Dead! I revive one monster from my Graveyard and equip it with this card. I revive Legend Devil!" Marik's monster revived.

"Battle! Obelisk attack Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon!" Marik ordered.

"I activate Odd-Eyes Absolute Dragon's effect!" Yuya was about to use his Xyz Dragon's effect.

"That's useless! Obelisk's effect activates! When this card declares an attack by releasing 2 monsters on my field, all monsters on my opponent's field are destroyed and the opponent takes damage equal to the destroyed monster's Attack Points!" Marik revealed.

"That's 9000 points of damage altogether!" Rin said.

"Do it! Obelisk! Accept the offerings!" Obelisk grabbed Marik's two monsters and squeezed them hard and they were destroyed. "And destroy everything in your path! God Hand Crusher!" Obelisk reared its fist back and charged forward.
