Alright, everyone here is Chapter 16. There will be no Duel but there will be a lot of detail so I hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 16: The Truth Revealed

"Is that so...they're all winning. The students of You Show Duel School." Reiji heard Nakajima's report on the Qualifier Round's First Day Results.

"Yes sir." Nakajima reported. "The 1000 Duelists participating have been reduce to 356 and You Show's students have a good number of points." Nakajima showed Yuya's, Yuzu's, Ruri's and Rin's points.

Yuya Sakaki: 80 points
Yuzu Hiiragi: 80 points
Ruri Kurosaki: 90 points
Rin: 70 points

"As expected, it was a good idea to incorporate this format for the Qualifier Round. That way only the best of the best will participate Maiami Championship and from there we can scout for potential candidates." Reiji smiled and fixed his glasses.

"How about today's report of the Summon Energy?" Reiji asked.

"Just as you suspected. There was an Xyz Summon stronger than our students from the Kirigakure Cooking School and the user was Ruri Kurosaki. Also, along the harbor, the Synchro Summon energy spike belongs to Rin. And of course, the Pendulum Summon came from Yuya Sakaki and Yuzu Hiiragi." Nakajima reported.

"I see. Then this means that both Ruri Kurosaki and Rin came from those places." Reiji crossed his arms.

"Also, President." Nakajima added. "We have detected a spike of Fusion Summoning also within the city."

"Fusion?" Reiji questioned.

"Yes sir. It was much stronger than those from LDS. I'm afraid to say it but...Maiami might've already been infiltrated." Nakajima lowered his head.

"If we act now, we'll only expose the public to fear, which will demotivate them and cancel the Maiami Championship. For now, continue monitoring for any Fusion Summon readings. Find a pattern, and we'll find whoever is doing it."

"Yes sir." Nakajima bowed and left.

Reiji looked out of the window and narrowed his eyes. "I won't allow their war to enter my city."

Maiami City – Alleyway

"Argh!" An LDS student that specialized in Xyz Summon was blown away.

"As expected, all of you Xyz trash are just worthless." Sora approached the student.

"Okay, you win. Just promise you'll take care of my card." The LDS students held out his Xyz Monster.

"You think I want that trash!" Sora slapped the card away. "There's another card I want." Sora raised his Duel Disk.

"Wh-What are you doing?! No, wait! Stop!" The students was engulfed in purple light and he disappeared.

Sora grinned as he took the card out of his Duel Disk and it was the student in fear. "I love that look on their faces." Sora laughed. "Just you wait, Yuya...I'll defeat you in front of an audience and rip your card in front of your friends."
