Here we are with Chapter 34. I could've finished this in the morning, but my grass was like a jungle even though I mowed the lawn not even a week ago.

Godofwar01: Yes, in fact, you'll know when.

Now on to the chapter.

Chapter 34: Dancers of the Moonlight

Leo Corporation – Control Room

Reiji, Shun and Nakajima were looking back through the footage of Yuya's Duel. "Starve Venom Fusion Dragon..." Shun saw the image of the card. "Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. All that's left is..."

"We don't know if Synchro will be the last card." Reiji said. "Remember, Yuya Sakaki also has Ritual added to his arsenal. Perhaps a Ritual Dragon will also appear soon."

They continued the watch the footage of Yuya and listened to his argument with Yuzu and walking away after Ruri slapped Yuzu. Shun turned to leave. "Where are you going?" Reiji asked.

"To talk to him." Shun said.

"Not now." Reiji said. "No matter what the reason, I'll have you refrain from actions that would impede on the progression of the tournament." Shun growled. "Do not forget this tournament's true purpose." Shun sighed before leaving.

"Just in case, I'll put surveillance on Kurosaki." Nakajima said.

"Good." Reiji nodded.

"Pardon the abruptness, but we have a change of schedule!" Nico announced. "Regarding the upcoming third match...due to the absence of LDS's Hokuto Shijima, Kirigakure Cooking School's Michio Mokota wins by default!"

"Absence?" Reiji questioned.

"President! About 3 hours ago, we detected a powerful summoning energy within Maiami City. The method was Fusion and we've found cameras have footage that detected the energy as well. Take a look!"

Footage showed Hokuto being cornered by a tall buff man in a cloak that shrouded his face. Hokuto backed away in fear before he turned into purple light and disappeared. The man took out a card from his Duel Disk and walked away.

"Rewind the footage and zoom in on the Duel Disk." Reiji ordered. They rewind the footage and zoomed in on the Duel Disk. "That's!" Nakajima's eyes widened. Reiji knew that Duel Disk all too well. It was the Duel Disk of Academia.

"Sir, that man is at the Center Court!" A woman called out.

"What?!" Nakajima was shocked.

"Take a look." The woman showed the Center Court lobby and the man was on the second floor looking down.

"I'll send the LDS..." Nakajima was about to call.

"Wait." Reiji stopped him. "Turn the camera to the direction he is looking at." The camera turned to see the man looking at Yuya.

Center Court

Yuya picked up a soda can he bought from a vending machine and instantly opened it. "So, I'm not supposed to care about you? Even after everything we've been through." Yuya angrily sipped his soda.

"How can you protect us when you couldn't protect—" Yuzu's words echoed in his head.

"Damn it..." Yuya cursed as his grip on his can tightened. "Why do you think I want to get stronger? Why can't you understand that I..." He then felt a chill go down his spine. He turned around but didn't see anyone looking at him. He then looked up and there wasn't anything unusual...except for a buff man in a dark cloak.
